Like, I've now played multiple recent games with BEF, and this is a scumclaim

BEF is actually easiest to read in the context of a claim.

When he is scum it's always "oh shit I'm confirmed town because of this shitty claim for reasons that don't really make sense but fuck doesn't my role sound townie?" when it never does and it's never clear why he would think it would

and then when he's town it's "listen everyone this one person is scum so I'm making sure we're locked into a 1v1"

like his role doesn't even make sense here, there's no reason to think it would influence his alignment, but that weird, nonsensical overconfidence--that is exactly what he does as scum

Unfortunately I can't link the perfect example of this because the best game I'm thinking about is still finishing up but trust me, I know how to read BEF, and he is scum here

Basically, if the role sounds like pure nonsense, and his treatment of the role sounds like pure nonsense, that = scum

if the role sounds like nonsense *but it aggressively pushes town toward his top scumread* then that is when he is town

and if he was actually macho, he would just say he's macho, he wouldn't try to make it seem like that should clear him or something

Three scenarios:
A) BEF is solo scum -- would explain his activity and presence which is slightly above average for either alignment

B) BEF is scum with Carmen -- straight up hard defending her, refuses to vote her. BEF does tend to open wolf somewhat as scum, so not unlikely

C) BEF is scum with Carca -- voting her after minimal pressure and realization that I won't be an easy mislynch... possible, but less likely

I'd say A > B > C

Carmen's weird lack of reaction to my night action (which, for intensive purposes here, we could just think of as loud/fruit vending, since she knows I visited her) also is factoring into my thought process here perhaps.
