Now, Podun was just yer average town. Not a lot of the ruckus one might find up thur in the big city. Podun was known round the great state of Georgia for its low crime and its not much hapnen's. The locals enjoyed finer things, like beer and fishin'. And they were dang happy that way. Nestled just a possum hair above sea level in Nowur county, that lil ole town was the right perfect place to take yur kin for a durn cheap vacation. It was a paradise.

Well, that's til' them gators shown up at their gates. A terrorist cell of gators with advanced spyin' equipment been roaming around town, usin' fancy machines to go and cloak themselves to look like a regular ole' Podunker. They terrorized the little city for weeks. Then people started fightin' back, often doin' more damage than any dang good. After a few unfortunate incidents with some firearms, some of the townspeople opted to just sit down and talk things out all kind like.

And that, folks, is where our story currently is. But you best bet those DURN GATORS sent a couple of thur best, tryna out-do the brains of the best minds this side of the Bayou. Can ya git'em? Mama always said time will tell...

Rules

General

-All site-wide rules apply.

-My decisions are final. If I feel you are violating any of the rules, I will take the appropriate action.
-I reserve the right to alter/remove/add any rules as I see fit. You will, of course, be notified if that happens.

Voting

-All votes and unvotes must be in bold or in VOTE: vote tags, with vote tags being preferable.
-Votes in spoilers or quotes will not be counted.
-For ease of counting, please place all votes at the start of a line. On a separate line by itself would be even better.
-Abbreviations and nicknames are acceptable, as long as I can understand them.
-Unvotes are helpful, but not necessary.
-Please refrain from engaging in any kind of voting trickery. If it looks like a vote, I'm counting it as a vote.
-Lynches will occur when a majority (>50%) is reached. If no majority is reached before deadline, the day will end in a no lynch. The number of votes needed to hammer will be included with every vote count.
-Voting to end the day in a no-lynch requires only 50% of players, not >50%.
-Once a hammer has occurred, the game is in "Twilight". Discussion may continue until I lock the thread but no further votes or unvotes will be counted.

Activity

-You are expected to make at least one game-relevant post every 48 hours. Players who go 48 hours without making a game-relevant post will be prodded.
-If you are prodded, you have 24 hours to make at least one game-relevant post in-thread. If you do not respond within 24 hours, you will be replaced. Additionally, if you accumulate 3 prods, you will be replaced at my discretion.
-Prod dodging will result in you being replaced at my discretion.
-Due to the relatively short deadlines, you may be V/LA only once per Day/Night rotation.
-If you are going to be V/LA, please announce it in thread or PM me. If your V/LA will last 4 days or longer you will be replaced at my discretion. Please announce your V/LA at least 24 hours in advance.
-You may ask for exceptions to be made for activity requirements within reason. Eg. Adding an extra 12 hours to your prod timer. Requests are approved at my discretion, and will not count as V/LA.

Setup Mechanics

General

-Night actions this game will follow Natural Action Resolution.
-If you do not send me an action for the Night, I will assume that you are not making one. If you have a Night action, but do not want to perform it during a particular Night phase, you may instead submit a "No Action" PM.
-Mafia will be able to communicate with each other during day phases.

GG:TGS Specific

-Each day phase the town can choose one area to conduct the discussion for the next phase. You will choose this using HEAL:
tags.
-The buildings are as follows:

Podun Town Hall

: Podun Town Hall is the centerpiece of this humble town. It has an Executive Office capable of holding two people for a side conversation, and a Break Room capable of holding two people.

Nowur County School

: Where all the great yungins go to get learned. It has a Teacher's Lounge that is capable of holding four people and two classrooms (Classroom 1 and Classroom 2) each capable of holding three people.

Podun Mercy Building

: The local clinic. Has a Break Room capable of holding three people.

Herb's Hardware:

Sells great hardware at eye-poppin' prices y'all! Has an Employee Lounge that holds three people, and a Manager's Office that holds two people.

-Rooms are first come first serve. Just bold a request to the amount of players you need in a room. You get the room (and access to a Private Topic) after they accept. Example:

-Rooms may only be "called" after the day has started in the building you want to call the room in.

It seems like a waste to use the school on any day other than day 1. Not sure if splitting the people 4/3/2 versus 3/3/3 would be better. I guess it depends on if any two people really want a PT together, but I do think 4 people in a hood out of 9 is too many for it to be useful.
