I think as town you would have focused more on Persi in that instance, Auro. I worded my point badly but the overall gist was correct.

I was agreeing with Persi tho on a logical level. Weird reason to townread someone, and called out on it. Like I couldn't understand the perspective where that made him scummy.

I don't believe "logic" exists in a vacuum, Auro. It's always perspectival. You agreed with Persi because you unconsciously wanted to find reasons to defend him. I wanted Irrel to be town, so I saw him as town. These biases are hard to overcome because they operate unconsciously.

Zeebu, a player (Notes) got spoilered information from the spec thread (diff account) and knew the scumteam, which was my slot and Persivul. So he began pushing that read.

His account got banned for cheating in a different game (and other games), the game was compromised because anyone could put together he was town with correct information because of the ban, compromising the game.

My main reason for suspecting Blake was also fundamentally correct: her bad townread on Persi. Notice that most of my scum analysis was actually on Persi, lol.

i got really really confused when you correctly pointed out that persivul was scum... and then pushed someone else for townreading him instead of pushing the person you correctly deduced was scum.

Bummer, that sucks. I will say me on painkillers is obviously brilliant. At that point I somehow linked tnt and persi in my mind. Couldn’t back it up later since I couldn’t remember why, but there’s that.

When you linked us with Persivul I was like “uhhhhhhhhhhhhh well crap” lol
FWIW the two most likely D1 lynches were the slots pushing the correct scumteam. At least we knew how to pocket enough players to get our lynch (I think). No clue if we might have endgamed - maybe the poisoner would have helped?

Fun game before it was ruined. Future cheaters take note: you have to have the charisma to not get mislynched yourself

Yeah Auro and I set out to specifically pocket Liz/Jack, Shoshin, and Voted intentionally. We did a bad job of staying off the radar of other slots in the process

So far I think about every game I’ve played I’ve been read as an early scum lean. This is probably not good. Makes for some interesting day ones though
