Introducing: Team 'Team' Team

Reading through this thread I’ve noticed a lot of complaints that people take team mafia so seriously. Apparently last year there was a serious lack of self-hammers, lolhammers, camel-up references, insistences that bamboozler cult jester is a normal role, trying to talk the mod into modkilling themselves, drunk driving, lurking (ok maybe not this one), claiming things that definitely can’t be in the game, claiming to be blind, and just a general lack of trust tells, modkills, and instance that ‘meta’ is a legitimate reason to townread someone without actually explaining what meta you’re talking about and when you haven't actually played with that person before or read any of their games (this one actually works btw).

I bet you’re wondering who we are. We were hoping to keep you wondering there but the turns out the mods weren’t happy with that. I know it’s a questionable mod decision but don’t worry, we’ve already began step one in a long process of spreading rumors about Micc. On that note I still can’t believe he crashed that lorry the other day and the best defense he could think of was ‘that busfull of nuns and orphans had it coming’.

You might question the logic of putting someone on the team who pretty much only posts in the form of memes and gimmicks. Turns out it gets you inexplicably townread in every game. It literally doesn’t matter what, people will justify a townread on him afterwards for the flimsiest of reason.
I never thought I’d see three people claim they townread someone because ‘he said he was blind so he couldn’t read the setup and if he was scum his partners would have explained the setup to him so he’s unlikely to be scum’.

You might question the logic of putting someone on the team who’s funny, handsome, and who’s got an 80% win rate if you don’t count any of the games pre-2017 when he was bad at mafia. That’s kind of a hard act for the rest of the team to follow. Elements just remarked in the last game we played together that he couldn’t follow a word of it.
We’re hoping that my jokes are so funny that the mafia refuse to kill me night one. On an unrelated topic, does anyone know why I keep getting killed night one?

You might question the logic of putting someone on the team who gets lynched day one ninety percent of the time. Let’s just say we’re REALLY hoping we roll a jester in at least one of these games. Plus, if people think he’s enjoying getting lynched they might get too creeped out to lynch him.
In a game where players are definitely going to look at meta, Element’s tactic of being so scummy he gets lynched in every game no matter what he says is the ultimate defense. We’re planning to put him in whatever game Cowbells and Mastina end up joining to avoid having to come up with an offense.

You might question the logic of putting someone on the team who hasn’t played on mafiascum before. I’m going to be honest here, we want at least one person we can blame if this doesn’t go well for us.

In the interest of keeping this fair we’re going to reveal some of the strategies we plan on using in the upcoming contest.
