I really think it’s extremely unfair to blame elements for the loss. If I was IC, I’d have lynched him too here.

Wrt to the self-voting. it’s almost always bad but had DDL fully read the setup, he’d have realized Ceasar was 100% getting lynched. However once he moved off of him and self-voted, even revoting CWI, wouldn’t have stopped his mislynch.

Anyway Orsetr, in a world where you would have been in LYLO with me and elements instead of Chemist, I’d probably have IC’d you. When you read the scum Discord, you’ll understand why.

Well, he made several mistakes in LYLO. He made a post that read like he was TMI spewing me town and then, he kept finding all of these NAI reasons for my being scum. Him also saying I was the only one who would be marking elements here, also looked scummy to someone in e’s position. I obviously can’t speak for him but that’s how I would have read it. But to be fair to Chemist, it’s entirely possible elements might have also acted scummy in his place, we will never know. I hated this form of LYLO and much prefer the traditional kind.

Elements I don't blame ya that was a tough LYLO, I definitely would've been strongly tempted to vote Chemist there too. Now knowing how it played out with hindsight, I think the best question to think about would be "why wasn't DP marked for death, and why would scum!Chemist mark Elements instead of DP", but in the moment I don't know if that would have pointed me to decisively vote for DP either. DP played it really well there too. hard fought battle and I hope to see you all in other games in the future

Thanks GL, wish I could say I enjoyed this game, maybe had I been town? I really didn’t enjoy a 2 person LYLO with an IC as any alignment, because it essentially amounts to calling the other slot, “scum”” and just putting the your fate in the hands of the IC. Ironically, the last time I was in a comparable situation, it was on MU and my mislynch cost town the game. I think Elements did his best, unlike the WOAT on MU who hammered me before I even had a chance to even vote or post.

The Worst actually came to me asking if I had any idea what to do for flavor. I don't know if he blanked or he just wanted to see what I could come up with, but the original idea behind this story was my suggestion to him that we fleshed out together. Gotta admit I really loved the sheer detail he put to it, especially that first day start post, and it really made that idea come to life into a fairly silly but overall fun and enjoyable world.

I was really looking forward to reading your flavour. It was the main thing that kept me interested in the game.
