here's my notes thread where you can read how bad i am at this game, if anyone needs a laugh, and it seems like we do need it: viewtopic.php?f=90&t=83851

thank you for modding, micc.

@scum, gg.

@raven, if this is about the me/you/pooky spat (from yesterday? a few days back? i genuinely don't remember, time is an illusion) i do believe that was an unintentional shitfest that spiraled out of control very quickly and was ultimately NAI and we all would've liked it better if it hadn't happened, and i treated it as such.

@pooky... sorry. just... sorry.
Re: the bolded: Thank you Dats, that realily means a lot. I know I read this yesterday but I was such a total basket case att, it didn’t sink in. I still am to some extent but knowing that you believe I’m not lying about anything is exactly what I needed to hear rn. <3

gib pts?
I will straight up disregard all reason if you have a PR dream again. You can come back and be like, “I dreamt that Locke is a N2 Bulletproof Multitasking Cop and Self-Targeting Doctor,” and I will go, “Okay, Locke kill it is then.”

Review Thread

Sorry for the delay. Everything here should now be released except the Mafia PT. We're still in the process of working out fair compromise between not outing Raven's main and my moderation policy being pretty strictly against redactions. I hope to have it open in the next 12 hours.

To speak towards the setup - things were pretty rushed together as shown by the review thread. I'm not particularly proud of how much still needed to be pulled together at the time the game filled. My intention for the game was never really to be normal adjacent, but rather to embrace the wackiness inherent in how the setup is built. Based on postgame comments I'm not sure how well that was conveyed as a design philosophy during signups. Something I'll try to keep in mind for future games.

Designing a game around a wacky role such as Town Bomb is always going to produce swing, but I was willing to accept that based on the design philosophy used for this game. The interaction between the Mark for Death and Town Bomb was an interesting dynamic to watch. The scum team did very well to identify key aspects of the setup during Night 1, and eventually come up with Bodyguard Neighbor as a fakeclaim that worked so well in the setup that it carried them through the end game.

I mentioned in the mod thread that the game within a game between skitter and the worst was absolutely fascinating to watch. This game also came with plenty of things not so fun to watch. I'm going to remember this game for the former and not the latter. Thank you again to everyone who played or spectated. I look forward to crossing paths with you all for another game sometime down the road.

right, I'm more just disagreeing with pooky's statement that like, all emotional manipulation is okay
this resonates with me a lot i think. there's a distinction between letting emotions show as either alignment & outright emotional manipulation. and like tbh nobody wants to be emotionally manipulated so just avoiding players who do it is a great idea.
And this is what I believe I’m being wrongly accuused of even if no one has actually done that. I play emotionally the same way as any alignment. I believe the only time I waz actually guilty of deliberately emotionally manipulating a player as scum, was in a game I had with Cheeky and I believe that was the only time I deliberately did this and I haven’t done anything like that before or since, because I felt really shitty about it.
@mod, can you redact Cheeky’s name from both of these posts? Thanks. That also gives possible clues to my main as well. Thanks.
