Banning

I've just done something I had hoped I would never have to do. Due to several obsence and obviously spam/trolling messages and PMs, xamra has been banned. I have also added MeMe as a moderator for all forums, as jeep and I are not always around to take care of such things.

If needed, I will write up some guidelines for such things, but hopefully tha will not be necessary.

Since it is now apparently posting as guest, an IP ban appears to be the only effective way. Good luck.

Too bad it had to happen, but once a forum gets big enough thinks like this will always happen. A ban was the only reasonable thing to do.

Oh, isn't there a 'Global Moderator'-thing here? I find MeMe's name below every forum a bit distracting. And MeMe, ongratulations and good luck with your new responsibilities!

All the same person (listed so that no one gets confused about why posts from these users are disappearing).

I advise anyone receiving PMs from any of these names to delete them without opening them and that if a post from one sits for a while because mith/jeep/I are/is not on to take care of them immediately, no one encourages him with response. We've spent enough time & discussion on him.

Okay, now I'm freaking out. I got the PM, entitled "funny.", and I'm worried if the supposed virus that's attached will still infiltrate my computer. My computer is lnked to every computer in the house.

Seriously, there is NOTHING you can send with a PM here but text. The only thing you can do with the text is adding BB-code, which is the bolding and coloring stuff. Just some layout changes. You cannot send attachments of any kind.

I doubt he'd be smart enough to get a virus anyways. Plus as everyone said it's impossible to send a virus via pm.
