that small. I agree with allowing up to 150px images, while still keeping the 10kb the same.

I think so much "OOMPH" is what is trying to be avoided by these changes, hehe.

I am fully in favour of these changes. Avatars should not be something big and noticable and a 'picture of the week', they should be just something small, helpful for identifying posters - for instance, when reading through a game quickly, I often look at the avatar for identifying a player rather than the name. Thus, thank you, mith.

I just have the problem that my pics are too big. I host them all on another site so they can just be linked here, but it won't let me because the quality is too good, I guess.

are you saving them as JPEG's? if so, a lot of times when you save the image on your PC the program will ask you what quality you want the image saved as... you could probably set it at High or 70% and not lose that much quality... if your not saving it as a JPEG, maybe you should... if you want me to see if i can get it under the limit for you, feel free to send me a PM or e-mail....
