Ask and ye shall receive... a simple, not very elegant, notebook has been implemented. If you want it to be improved, let me know... Current limit is 20 notes.

Someone else will need to make the little icon that should be to the right of it.

JEEP, you rock.

I'm not going to copy-paste this into every thread, but I feel like I should.

It should just be there when you go into notes. Are you sure you hit submit?

It was a whim... someone asked and the more I thought, the more I liked.

The notes have HTML tags instead of phpbb tags. However, next to the mesage area you can see "HTML is OFF." Is that a problem?

Heh, no, it actually isn't. You just can't use other HTML tags.

You should return back to your notes page with all your notes displayed. Send me a PM with a temporary password and I'll check it out then change your password back to what you send to me.

This is great. Now I don't have to send all those PM's to myself anymore.

Well, I just made a note with a table in it. Is this supposed to be allowed? If not, could you please change that? Tables are just too darn handy to keep track of things.

A few questions:

1. Can the limit be raised. I don't think i need it raised yet but you never know...

2. Is there a size limit on each note?

3. Are the notes absolutely secure? Can anyone check them out? Including admins?

The reason I ask is because I see this as an ideal way to keep track of games whether playing or modding. One of the problems I have is how I usually access the site from several different locations and thus notes need to be updated, copied, and transferred regularly which is a pain given the regularity I access from seperate isolated locations.

HTML tagging is ideal cos I can use tables in place of excel worksheets. Another problem solved, ie, the incompatibility between MS Excel and MS Works Spreadsheet.

Quite easily.
2. Is there a size limit on each note?
Yes. All the notes are stored in a database field.
3. Are the notes absolutely secure? Can anyone check them out? Including admins?
mith and I can see anything that is stored in the database, but there is no interface for us to view the notes. Show me how it's broken and I'll fix it. Feel free to try to crack my notes, I don't have anything secret there.

Is it possible to get a sort of index for the notes, I keep one note per game, and as I have some quite long ones for things like Mixed Theme, it's kinda hard to find the smaller ones sometimes.......
