Fair. Still trying to err on the side of "let's not get people with half a sense of ethics banned accidentally" but yeah
Agreed just trying to vouch for Ari in case it were to become a thing.

If you're looking for "legitimate" excuses to use that kind of language then consider turning 18.

I do want to note that it is extremely amusing to me how many people who are really bent out of shape about this are also people with join dates within the past, like, 2 years.

Creature, I wonder if you know what 'connotation' means, or possibly if you think words have intrinsic connotations as opposed to consensus ones. People are saying right in this thread that the word does have that connotation for them.
“There are two kinds of people in this world: those who say, ‘There are two kinds of people in this world: those who say there are two kinds of people in this world,
and the other kind,
’ and those who
don’t
say. Well, then there’s me.” — J.R. “Bob” Dobbs

I'm not trying to need to use that word, but if I ever find it useable, I'd rather be judged by the context of the sentence/paragraph I used it than the word itself.

Because the mods decided to NOT be draconian and allow users to migrate slowly.

But I non-ironically support auto filter being set up exactly as you just described.

Well, good thing the world and all conversations take place in the dictionary. I mean, that noose in Bubba Wallace's garage, nothing to do with the fact that he's black. It's not in the dictionary.

DGB has been pushing for YEARS to remove the word scum from the lexicon and actually modded a game where its use wasn't allowed
