Dave, as you are likely unaware, me and Kay have just come out of a game where we were mafia together and it went horribly. the Scum thread wasn't good, as what Kay wanted and what i can do in a game were very different.

Hopefully now with a different 3rd wheel things will go better and Kay also knows my limitations better

as for this game, 2 goons and a neighbour seems pretty underwhelming

Until I figure out which person from the neighborhood I think is the best to vote, I’m using my vote to give information about what I’m thinking, since apparently not voting is the work of the devil according to some. (sorry for being hyperbolic) But also, if wanting to glean info from someone’s voting history if they are killed/limmed is a big thing, I don’t mind this being put out there.

I don’t like Day 2 from Penguin. I didn’t really love his D1 either. Maybe it’s just his playstyle but continually prodding people to vote and saying they add nothing to the game unless they vote is odd to me since he seems to vote randomly with no explanation a good amount of the time. He says talk is meaningless yet votes (sometimes) with no (obvious) incentive. Seems like he does that so he can retroactively come up with any explanation he wants for his votes.

I could vote this. I don't really want anyone in the hood atm

i am happy to be the kill. there are enough people to go after tomorrow, and leaving the hood alone for those who want to keep on shooting there seems ok.

not great just us two left, i am not good enough to be able to get another push going when so many town were so locked in on Ranger/dave so quickly.

this game feels almost over, we have zero power between us and basically we are at teh mercy of any info town can pull together. a mass claim from town will likely win it for them if they go that root

This is an awful reads list and it thinks you can die after Naerys.

Lycanfire and Penguin swapped the momentum away from Ranger living to Ranger dying. It was the one responsible for ensuring Ranger died. Those 3 slots are town and never dying today. Snow and Hu Tao were attempted counter wagons to save Ranger. Also town.

ok, back in the game, done a catch up, think ive thrown mud in plenty of places to go later but if we can get naeyrs today and then maybe shoot in the hood tonight among those seen as very likely town we can inch closer towards the end game

Mod created a neighbourhood of 5, had two of them know each other were town and so the pair of them could go shoot in the rest of the hood with a 1 in 3 chance of getting scum?

Bringing this back in here for "strategy' thoughts.

Are gypyx and Thom paranoid there are 2 scum in the hood?
Because if there is only 1 in thr set up the pair of them just mow through the other 3 members till they catch one and then they then have a town block of 3 or 4 players who are never going to be got.

I have no idea how to play this now. Do I assume that town has to have almost no powe roles, because giving them anything when scum have none seems too much? Do we pick off the confirmed townies in the hood and don't bother trying to hit anyone outside? I think that is what we have to do

I still think one of Naerys, Kay and Oblivion is scum for their response to the Snow wagon. And Naerys is the only one of those three who commented on it (when she complained about my mocking tone).

I tried to pick a fight with Naerys, but unfortunately she declined to give me one.

Bold of you to accuse 3 people that aren’t currently voting for you when you only need 3 more votes to get hammered. Thats fun, I like it.

Maybe I just don’t understand the finger pointing. It’s really easy to be on a wagon and then jump off (but not be the first to jump off, just in case, you know, it works) and wall post about how informative it was as if we’re supposed to just dismiss him being on the wagon as well. Feels like a good way to control the narrative, and continuing to reiterate the same reads as an attempt to get the vote off him.

im too tired to elaborate on why atm but these two posts were where i initially got the hunch
i initially thought that kay was doing an insightful sorting take in 260, but 266 recontextualizes differently
it felt like seeing a spark of magic get deliberately suppressed, made me wonder if kay is really trying to sort slots after all.

anyway, reading the whole thread will be but the first step to me getting great reads about the game

Even if neither of us gets caught the next 2 days, we end up then in 3 vs 2.

If 1 of us goes in the next 2 days, it will be 4 vs 1 and then that player will have to not get eliminated for another 2 days to win. Lot more of this game to go

The Mason's will build if and when, we cannot let them get to thr end game either so if town wants to push them tomorrow great, else I think we have to kill one tomorrow.
