Penguin ascribes to the same philosophy that I do, that large wagons are a foundation for reads. I'd expect him to reflexively vote the biggest wagon.

Pedit: I think there is value in keeping it hidden at least for a while. There is at least a chance that we're all town, and if that is the case it's really powerful to not tell scum.

If we claim hood immediately, my worry is the focus immediately shifts to us 5 (which is fine), potentially allowing scum to hide in the other 10.
There's also a world where we are all town, however unlikely, and claiming the hood reduces the power that would give us.

Why would we release it today when we can test validity of PT cop claim or catch scum?

My main reason was because the game felt it was stagnating and I thought revealing this might provide some life into it to help us read people.
