Hey there, Mafia Goons. The Traitor scanned out the place before you got here, and wanted you to know that the place may be a bit more difficult to take over than initially thought.

However, the Godfather did want this place taken over, so your objective is to make that happen. Big key here, is not to die, but that will depend on how you play this out.

What kinds of bonuses do you think we should go for? I'd rather recruit the Traitor than try to figure out who it is and accidentally shoot ourselves in the foot if we're wrong.

What about the other abilities? The only one that seems worth it to me is Role Cop, but I don't know that it's worth giving the Town an extra PR.

Day talk could be worth it if we agree to use it, but more often than not I see scum teams just not make use of Day talk when they have it.

p-edit: It means we all get to talk in this scum PT during the Day Phase, when it would normally be locked during the Day and we wouldn't be able to communicate.

I agree - just recruit the traitor and the only other one worth thinking about is the day chat.

I think it could prove useful, especially if town don't know we have it.

The key is for all of us to make it through the first day, so just play it safe for day 1 and don't rub people up the wrong way too much. If one of us is wagoned it should be easy enough to gently manipulate the voting a bit, as long as we don't give anyone too good a reason to suspect us.

From Day Two become a bit more involved and it will soon be forgotten about the lack of contribution on D1.

That's my plan, anyway.

I used to play very aggressively as scum and bus my scum partners even on D1, but I've found that it's too much of a gamble.

I don't like making preconceived decisions about bussing since it leads me to take awkward positions that usually get me caught. I make that decision at that crossroad and just go with whatever is best for the long-term health of the team.

Same goes for any push I make really - I prefer taking stances I could form naturally than saying "I HAVE to push/defend this person" and forming awkward arguments that don't pan out.

Yep I agree with that - mostly we have to play naturally, but certainly if we can identify and focus on certain weak points in the town and adapt our natural play around that, then all the better.

I'm considering a push on IceGuy - his stance on Grapes has been pretty weak.

Also considering buddying Grapes a bit at some point.
