Loopdan knew that I wouldn't play like that as town and he was a pretty big reason for my wagon. If he didn't replace in I would have coasted all of day1 and we would have roleblocked 1 PR and killed the other.

There's always going to be replacements in a newbie game, and quite a few of them will be good players.

Who do you think the other PR is?

And it's more that I didn't really do anything worth scumreading, I just didn't live up to my usual towngame. It's happened a few times now, but when I was more unknown playing scum was pretty easy. Now that people have 'meta' on my towngame though, it's borderline impossible because Loopdan's kind of right, as town I don't let the game devolve into chaos or disorder, I always take the lead if the town isn't functioning, I make people co-operate and work together to find scum etc.

You can do some of those things, but not all of them as scum. Being that active and that co-operative means you're basically helping town, even if you get 'townread' for it. I'd basically have to bus all my partners every game to maintain the belief that I'm town in the rest of the town and/or maintain credibility. About the only place I can reside as scum, is in the sector of 'village idiot' where I've been such a troll that people can't tell if I'm town or not - except that gets you policy lynched/ignored as the game progresses. I'll have to scale back my townplay I guess, to be better at scum.

No, don't do that. They'll think you're scum for it now they've seen what you can do. I find it helps to convince yourself there's another scum team out there, and hunt them just as you would when playing town.
