Guess Trans is traitor? After large 201 he should know i'm pretty good in reading people (had 4 of 6 scums in multiball on day 4 in D1, before i got frustrated enough to replace out, funny enough Trans was one of them and one of biggest TRs by town ), so his vote on me was really weird, as for A50 and Nero, as i said, A50 gamestyle changed a lot from what i saw in timeshift + that Nero defense was disgusting

I have the same problem, but I don't think I have quite nailed it like you have on D1. That said, I'm a lot better at getting Town reads than Scum reads.

I have the same problem, but I don't think I have quite nailed it like you have on D1. That said, I'm a lot better at getting Town reads than Scum reads.

i always notice even slightest slips, so i have hard time to TR people in general, unless they do something really towny, past experience playing with them helped too to determine if they scum or just bad town (i often hardtunnel bad towns, if i see them first time )

Mmm... to me there are things that only Town would say, so its like a Town slip in that regard. I do have to ask though... I have a difficult time sticking to my initial reads... is there a remedy to that?

yes, town slips more than scum in general, cause scums are more careful by default, but still have push/question slips to see if it comes from town or scum

as for sticking for your reads, you have accept that you will be more SRed for pushing someone, who other people are TRing, also you have accept that people will ignore most arguments you provide, only remedy is accept that you are better than everyone else - so your reads are right, while others are wrong, and push your reads until they listen you or you die, one way or another, in short - you need have hard skin and don't accept weak/vague arguments to change your opinions

Persuasion (as Town)

If you are town you have three goals:
1. Stay alive.
2. Find scum.
3. Get scum lynched or otherwise killed.

To accomplish your goals you must be able to pursuade others. Common approaches to persuasion include:
1. Screaming
2. Whining
3. Desperate pleading
4. Active lurking combined with naked votes
5. Presenting evidence-based cases that clearly articulate the reasons why a player is of a certain alignment.

Research shows that the first four methods are highly effective persuasion techniques, While the last technique will almost certainly result in your own lynch.

good question, wish i knew answer to it, too many times was: me "X is scum, cause x, y, z and whatever", others "nah, you wrong, he's town, let's get that guy", me "why him?", others "he's scummy" and ofc that "scummy" guy gets lynched, and when he flip town i usually want strangle all of them

we got perfect example in this game too, people ignoring my push, ignoring questions why i'm scummy (i clearly remember Lil asking several times, maybe others too), A50 had good reason for lynch - my town meta, which he saw in one game was different from my style here , i could think my lynch was PL, but no one raised that argument

ToS suck, and players there mostly too, ToS fm is different thing than ToS, but not that many knows about it, cause you have to log in in forum to actually see fm section
