Player List Randomization:

Players with a lower total dice roll will be ordered earlier in a list. In case of a tie, the values of the first die then the second and then the third one will be used to break the tie. If the tie cannot be broken, I will roll again for the tied players and break the tie using that (following the same rules), repeating as necessary to ensure all ties are broken.

Eg: If player A rolls {25, 20, 16} => 61, player B rolls {12, 32, 17} => 61, and player C rolls {6, 22, 98} => 126, then the players would be listed in the following order:

I honestly don't know what Creature is doing this game. Anyway, that's not quite his scum meta; he can be somewhat disengaged, especially early, and still be town.

(Honestly, it depends on context; it seems to me that it can be quite obvious when someone is trying to game-throw by naming their team versus using it as a scum tactic, hence why I explicitly allow players to claim scum all they want with whomever they want. As long as it is clearly not game-throwing, I have zero issue with it.)

How to sort a Creature 101 - The maual: Town!Creature posts. Scum!Creature doesn't. It's as simple as that.

The keyword here is

. Seriously, Creature (as both alignments) know that this is how he has historically been read by, so he isn't going to keep doing the same thing as scum and expect to win. His meta may not have changed drastically, but it has changed and will continue to change, so the old myth that Creature can be read simply by his activity is blatantly false. Besides, I played a game with him (around the time he joined the site) where his activity wasn't very high, but he was town.

10. In 127:

25/4.5 = 5.55555555556. I believe that this number, being very close to 5.5, indicates that we could have 5 scum and a traitor in this game. A low-powered town with 5 scum and a high-powered town with 6 scum are also possible but I think it's fairly likely we're dealing with a traitor here which is why I thought almost's posting was a possible traitor crumb. Maybe I'm just crazy but maybe there really is a mafia traitor in this game.

1a. You are to assume good faith for all players that request replacement, regardless if you believe it to be a tactical replacement or not. It is the moderator's responsibility to investigate if there is reasonable evidence to believe it is a tactical replacement. Otherwise, suggesting such is disrespectful and unethical. Furthermore, it brings an outside influence into the game so just do not do it.
1b. Avoid bringing major real-life events into the game. Do not question other people's motives should they bring major real-life events into the game. The best thing to do is to keep real life out of this game, but if something major does happen and it affects your ability to play then others should accept it as-is rather than engage in the unethical practice of assigning ulterior motives to it.

(Just noting that these two rules exist. I'm not going to say anything for now though as that would count as moderator influence, but if it gets out of hand, I might put a note about these rules in the VC.)

Ok so I've been skimming up to pg 7 and I am just dying laughing at some of these funny posts. I mean, man. Smokebomb throwing, claiming bp pgo compulsive commuter...one of the funniest games I've seen in awhile.

That's interesting; I've been kinda bored by the slow pace of the game. (Meh, it's probably just that I don't have a really good sense of humor.)

I replaced in to help out ircher, my old-time buddy - before that, I read the slots I could replace into. I was seeing screenplay as scummy, but when I wanted to choose another slot I thought was still open, it was too late and I was stuck into this one. Fortunately this slot (me) I'm in , is town.
I can see why golden has sr on screenplay though, he posted quite a bit of fluff.

For the record, I'm not really allowed (despite being game moderator) to choose which slot you replace into, and I'm almost certainly not allowed to honor requests to replace in to certain slots just because said player thought slot X was town or scum. The reason being that doing such could be considered moderator influence on the game.

Dude jjd, you and khan caused me to change my signature now haha.

Hi, I'm going to request that you do not do this as I'm not certain this is entirely legal based on the rule against discussing ongoing games. While I know you mean no harm by this and that it doesn't seem like it would cause an issue, I don't really think this is a good idea. For instance, what if someone in another game says something about you based on your signature while my game is still going? Would you consider that the same as saying "I'm townreading Performer for this reason I can't say because of ongoing games?"

Again, I realize that while the signature doesn't explicitly mention anything in an ongoing game, it does have a quote from an ongoing game, and if people are impacted in other games by said quote, I feel that violates the ongoing games discussion rule. Thus, I feel that allowing players to do this is in essence opening up a loophole that shouldn't exist in the first place. Therefore, I request that you do not quote anything at least from my game in your signature so that there is less risk that my game (or perhaps another person's game) becomes compromised by what seemed to be an innocous quote.

Documenting this for transparecy sake. Also, note that this pm doesn't really count as a warning either; it's more of a request than anything.
