randomidget's kill is going to target himself, but he will survive night 1 given the text above. If this behavior continues to night 2. They will be 100% dead that night

Elsa gets the super kill, but does not need it

Iconeum, Nancy Drew 39, and animorpherv1 are gonna die. They should have access to this thread now

The one thing I hate about this is how one superblock forms, and there's nothing to do about it. If you're not online atnthe right time, game over.

Do you feel that's an issue I should address in future games or no?

Do you think re-introducing the dice powered super kills from an earlier version would help with that?

Maybe I'm alone in that feeling, and I'm not entirely sure how to deal with it - I don't feel like a superkill is going to solve the issue entirely.

She had 2 protects, everyone else had 1. If you had protected jumble or elephant we could have had 5 or 6 different people getting super charged.

So you are suggesting I only give out super charge in the event no one dies? If someone dies, I should not care who has most protects?

Interesting idea. Would cut down on possibility of all people die as a result of many single protects. But I think that would have ill effect on people being able to betray others. Super kills force people to protect stack which can make some people in alliances easy to pick off and others require the super charges.

Overall I feel like saying one thing in thread and killing someone completely different is still the optimal play in this game. Be a truly random serial killer for the win. I wish people would go about this strategy in game sometime

I think you want to heal with any alliance you are in

if there is someone that won't kill you or draw a lot of kills like randommidget then you heal them to avoid giving someone the super charge and letting them use it against you

By the way I did some thinking. I believe removing lynches from the game was a good idea. Meanwhile there may be a way to make the super kill better. We could do things the way Elsa suggested where you only give one out in the event no player is dying, BUT as the game has always had at least one player get killed at night, I don't think that's how we should go about improving it.

Instead what if we rewarded a super kill not only to the player that gets the most protects, BUT also to a player with the most kills from previous nights? Or we could give some different reward to a player with the most successful kills.

Perhaps add some points system to the game where players with most protects and kills get some high score or some prize at the end of the game

OR perhaps if there are multiple players getting super kills which would result in 1/2 the remaining players dying, only give the super kill to the player with the most kills so far.
(We almost had a lot of players with only one protect on them get super kills on night 2. This could be a nice way to prevent that from possibly happening in the future)

What do you guys think?

Actually I think the most appropriate reward for having the most kills in the game is to get a win.

If for some reason you get the most kills, but don't survive to the end, you should win with those that survive. This would reward those that stay true to their cause but get betrayed. And have the potential to reward those that betray, are courageous enough to try go for it all. I like it!

Obviously can't add that mechanic mid game, but its something good for the games future even if I don't get around to testing it in the future.
