Hey there, partner! First game EVER of forum mafia for me, though I've got a good bit of experience with IRL and games like mafia.gg and Town of Salem. If it makes you feel any better (probably not), I'm also quite nervous, but think of it this way - we know our roles, we know everyone else's alignment, so this game really is ours to command...lets win this!

Oh awesome! Hope you enjoy your first game :D I was a big ToS & other hidden role game player, too, before getting into forum mafia here this past year. If you've ever got questions about vocab, how things usually are played, etc. please ask! In the main game thread or privately in here, someone will always be happy to answer :) In my experience you get a lot of wiggle room in terms of how others read you when they've got no previous game history to compare you to yet!

Sounds good to me, this site seems very welcoming to newbies (makes sense, it's a pretty niche community). I think I'll be good on all the terminology - the mafiascum wiki has an exhaustively extensive list of abbreviations and terms which I've gone over out of curiosity, and also alot of it is familiar to me from mafia.gg and other games.

Alright, well, I've tried to somewhat set up Asphodel as potential scumbuddy if I get flipped scum, of which the chances are fairly high.

Yeah, you got replaced into a pretty bad situation. Sorry I haven't been the most active, had a busy day. Will catch up here shortly. My current goal is to just try to get FoS off me in the likely event you get elimmed.

Honestly if Woshua gets eliminated this day, I'll take that as a moral victory.

Anyway, in case I get elim'd soonish, I'm going to write up my major thoughts on the state of town.

My hunch is that Joho and T02 probably have power roles. This is on a fairly simple basis, and could easily be wrong, but people with PRs would be more inclined to think about PRs, and they've both commented about it. T02 over Joho.

If its to go to melo, I think you'd probably want Ash, Joho, and Bellaphant? It'd be hard to filter out as such, and I think you may end up with Ash or Joho replaced with someone like T02, or at worst, GoodMorning. I think Bellaphant especially could be convinced to vote Joho if the cards are played right, and maybe Ash too. If T02 makes it in instead, Ash would be a more likely target, though T02 might be possible instead. If GoodMorning makes it in... rip.

At elo the obvious answer is Ash and Joho, but that would be very hard.

I don't know how prevalent NKA is, but GM or Daniel would be my first choices.
