From time to time we play it with mafiascum folks, through playdiplomacyonline usually. I love it !

I remember being in a board game group, and always wanting to play agricola, even though everyone thought agricola sucked. We did play it at some point and actually it was kind of nice, though it didn't blow my socks off or anything. I think it gets much better if you play it a couple of times.

What I did play recently is DIPLOMACY. The full thing with 7 players ! In lack of a dedicated GM we just put the orders in a box, which works fine. The game lasted, I think, maybe 6 hours or so. We stopped when the winning alliance was kind of obvious; this is not a game you want to play till the bitter end as it can get very tedious at that point.

Yesterday I played Saboteur.

It was kinda fun when you get the hang of it, but it is not a game that you should be playing too often or with the same people all the time. I heard there are also expansion packs. Though I usually like simple games, to me the game is a bit too simple right now, to the point of getting boring after a couple of times. An expansion pack might solve that.

Then again I love Settlers of Catan as well, an absolute classic, so that's probably just a different taste in gaming.

I received Saboteur (english name I do not know) for Christmas. It is a fun game, but especially with more people and if people are good at it (for example, they pretend to be the saboteur when they are not, stuff like that). Otherwise, it can be dull. Very happy with it though as it's an easy game that can be taken anywhere.
