Soft Reset = (Your ELO + 1200)/2
You gain/lose around 40-50 lp per game and get more and lose more in streaks
Every challenger who won 10 games in a row got plat 1 at the highest

Free weeks and playing aram. You wont learn how to lane with the champions but you will learn their range and what they do. Aram is also generally quicker than most normal games.
Zito to do that to one of my games so i can understand what i need to work on.
I could I guess. Only issue is I'm a silver support player, you'd probably get better results from other scummers that are better at the game than me especially at other positions.

If only I had the time, but I generally don't like spectating games.
If you know you don't ward enough, simply ward more. Make a real effort to do so. After you get out of base all of your wards should be up. You only have to control 3 now+ 1 pink so it isn't that hard.

1) CS. If you're in a lane and not supporting, your effective farm should be around 80-100 by ten minutes. I say effective farm because sacrificing, let's say, five-ten minions for a kill can balance out to be the same value despite the actual number being displayed as lower.
Is this factoring in the CS the enemy will miss by being dead?

That should make you feel better! When you play with a handicap and then switch to someone who is safer you can get out of bad situations more easily.
Such as practicing and getting good with Twitch or Sivir and then switching to Cait/Ezreal, you can gain a new found respect and understanding of using their escapes/range.
NEVER EVER BUILD AN ATTACK SPEED ITEM FIRST UNLESS YOU HAVE DIRECT SCALING LIKE VAYNE OR YASUO. Fuck. That's literally some of the most awful shit I've been seeing so much of lately.
In this instance Trynd scales indirectly with crit because his passive is weird. Unless you know how to manage it really well I wouldn't go a crit item first.
This is 100% true and more people need to realize this. AS is the most worthless early game stat.

Pretty much, all of the gold income items are good income if you can't farm/are bad at farming.
Other than the cheap starting gold items,
Wriggle's Lantern counts as a gold income item but it's a terrible item.
Avarice blade also gives you gold but does not count as a gold income item. (Meaning that you can have it as well as another item)

They have different artists but yeah some of the anatomy is highly questionable. As much money as Riot makes you'd think they'd be able to afford better artists!
Naw this is way more subtle. The Jarvan art looks very off and is terrible in comparison.
Also her pose is not really all that unnatural. I've seen crazier poses from real women.
Also just because something isn't "technically wrong" doesn't mean it can't be "visually wrong"... you have to take into account the structure and composition of the image. The J4 splash isn't an anatomy issue with the legs (though the composition of the post and space is very off) it's that the artist clearly didn't outline the skeleton before adding on the armor, so it is structured wrong.

Naw. People really over exaggerate the "broken back" thing. When I was a teenager I could fit both my legs behind my head and do this. Spines can really be pretty flexible.

Yeah myko and you are right, it's just that it doesn't really *look* that bad I feel in comparison to more obvious anatomy mistakes such as with the J4 art. Idk maybe I see things differently than people because to me that Lux art looks decent.

At the very least bots would actually use their skills or try to do something other than let Yasuo beat on them with 0 retaliation.

Vayne scales better with PD than shiv, regardless of shiv's bonus damage.
Not always. Dueling Vayne is BotRK>PD(or Zephyr)>Kick everyone's ass if your mechanics are godlike
Vayne scales so well with attack speed, and doesn't get any special crit scaling.
This is correct. Vayne is one of the few adc's that can effectively build BOTRK as a first item. But LW isn't needed second.

Idk this Diamond 1 dude has a 67% winrate with nid and builds Chalice on her.
It can't be that bad of a choice. Not that tear is bad on her, but I think it may just be a preference thing, or maybe situational.
Also why are the top players for nidalee almost all EUW?

And yeah, having more mana in lane is really good. Don't care if that's not where she shines; if you don't have mana, you suck.
There is also the fact that nidalee is used for more than just her spears. She is a melee champion too and the nidalee that ONLY sits back and throws spears is the nidalee who contributes nothing to teamfights.

It's a bit bothersome that CDR in the mastery tree is 5% at the top of the offense tree and 5% at the bottom of the utility tree.
I can, as support, effectively get 10% at the start of a game. However, not every APC is going to be taking a 9/0/21 page, so if they choose to take that 5% in the offence tree their options for CDR to NOT go over the cap are CDR boots. (The only thing that gives 15%CDR)
Otherwise every other item gives either 10% CDR or 20% CDR.
But CDR boots aren't generally ideal on most APC mids and definitely not on supports since pretty much every support item grants CDR and like I said before, you can get 10% just from masteries.
For AD casters the 5% can be useful though as it's harder to hit the CDR cap on AD's than AP's.
I'm not trying to make any points here, just thinking on how I probably don't want to take that 5% CDR on APCs because I absolutely hate going over the cap. It might not be a big deal as maybe there is nothing better to take early game in the tree, though.

Honestly, this is most ranked games. Like they startegies/ skill level gets higher but there are a vast majority of the games that I feel are won or lost without me having a say in it. Yes I carry games, but honestly that is a lot less to do with how good I am then with how bad the guy in my lane is and how bad their guy who's job it is to stop me is. I feel so many games are won and lost in champ select that it's kind of ridiculous(especially when i get closer to what I feel my skill level is - gold 4/3)
If there wouldn't be the penalty for 3 LP every time you dodge I would probably avoid some loses. I've lost nearly every game where my ADC was Ashe. The only one who didn't feed had 2/1/10 and their team was awful.
If you get a really bad team in champ select, it's generally worth it to dodge. Even if you only lose 3 LP for your losses normally... that's still ~35+ minutes you're saving. (Or if it's a REALLY bad team then ~20 minutes)

Given the bar is that anyone under Diamond 1 50 LP isn't worth anything much, and even people at that level regularly have huge gaps in their picks/theory/play or are 1-hit wonders, yeah.
Sometimes I come to this thread and actually find true things spoken. Today is one of them.

Ive never ever duo'd with any diamond players until I was mid plat already, and at most diamond V. I didn't even have any diamond players on my friends list until I regularly got matched up with ones who added me at the end of games.
But okay.
While it may be true that there are obvious skill differences in different tiers, it doesn't make it any less true that this thread is mostly just shit talking now.

*hugs* it happens to a lot of great players, just don't ever get down on yourself. Realize any mistakes you make, but just don't get down on yourself. I have two of my friends who are now Diamond 1, who previously lost down to plat 3 after failing their DV promos. Most people I know will tell you that Plat is shitty, BUT DV is their least favorite division. (I can see why it would be) You'll get there, buddy.

Someone gave it to me a while back to use as a chat program because he refused to download skype. I wish I could use it JUST for the voice chat because the timer part is annoying. It's a lot easier for me to just take the timer and remember the time and giving it to my team when it's close. Looking at the countdown is distracting and messes me up.

Stats (uncovered): http://i.imgur.com/iC4P6o3.jpg
Finally, hit diamond. Went on a win streak in solo Q from my plat 1 promo all the way to winning my sereis. I wasn't too worried when I lost 2 of my series games. I didn't expect to get there on my first try though.
It's ultimately satisfying that I won my final game into diamond by hard carrying this bot lane ahri who was massively on tilt from the game he lost before on the enemy team.
He was pretty nice but made it clear that he didn't know how to play ahri and was doing it because he was upset. Then later said he's sorry he didn't pick an actual adc and that he'd bot lane more if more supports were like me. <3
Ultimately from my journey I've learned that solo queue is my best bet. I just win more when I play alone. I don't have anyone to try and not fail for other than strangers. (anxiety is a bitch)
I don't have to worry about the MMR going out of wack because I play with someone in low plat or high diamond.
