I like your aggression, but you need to learn when it's just wasted moves. You're still learning so it makes sense, but you seem to play the same regardless of you situation. You need to learn when the flash bite is the play and when it isn't. I think that zed game had you learn a little because he was getting away from you a lot. You just got to understand trundle isn't that mobile so you need to dial it back a little when you know a guy is gone. It comes with time, the whole learning not to chase thing.

Most of my ranked games are pretty silent with some late game coordination type stuff only. Other than that, majority is from pings. If people talk, about half the time it's a clownfiesta in chat cuz the game's going awfully and the other half the time the team's pretty positive and we keep it together, winning or losing (usually ends up in a W despite losing early).

My smurf is lulzy af because people talk so much more crap and do so much less. It's like everyone is in tilt before they even start the game and just go full speed ahead down shit creek.

My point still stands: who cares? What is the worst case scenario for you? You run into 2 boosters in your series or something? It doesn't matter if you lose a series or get demoted now, because once you get back into it, they give you a W so you only have to split the next 2 or 4 games, which is easy as fuck. They give you all the help in the world to get any unlucky matchmaking back. Caring that other people are being boosted just reads like being a "jelly hater" as Athene would say. Riot should care about boosting for various reasons, but none of those reasons are because they are smoking out a small percentage of games that they help you get back in the first place.

Play him someday. This sentiment keeps coming up in this thread and I don't think it's that accurate. Galio's tankiness does not come from his passive. It's bulwark. And it's tankiness he needs because he's a melee midlaner without the threat of an all in. Galio against an AD assassin is a breeze, you get to farm early on, and an all in is not going to work unless your opponent is quite a bit better. He gets too many free resistances, and q and r become more potent if someone is actually choosing to stand next to you. He's on 51+ % winrate now with lux, yas and zed as the three most picked midlaners.

Without staring oneself blind at his passive, realise that galio is a supportive brick wall, say like orianna, with fewer tools and a more awkward early laning phase. Yes you get more value out of building mr, but mostly you are going to pick him to neutralise your fancy opponent and provide more utility (but less damage) lategame given everything else equal.

Now say you face a swain. You can't pressure him with galio. All you do is hold. So you get your income at the same pace. Swain gets much more teamfight presence out of his money, the stronger he gets the more he heals, the longer he deals damage. And so many of these mages are lategame terrors. Your slight bonus in AP because you are building MR won't do much for you. You'd much rather face a zed, drop 90 armor on your adc when he ults in, and lock him down with your ult once he gets too close.

This. I don't think many people really understand galio. He is really good against certain kind of mages, but is still going to have the same problems he had before.
