two new champions!!
This is the TLDR of what you need to know
-Vastayan Lovers
-2 separate champs (ADC and support)
-Specific gameplay synergies with each other
-They can be played separately and have dope kits
-Xayah manipulates feather blades and can go untargetable with her ult
-Rakan is mobile AF and brings a lot of CC and protection.-

I don't know. There have been stronger interactions in the game than this. Carry the Kog was lulu dependent and yet it saw quite a bit of play.
The interactions that are paired are:
E (Rakan): Battle Dance - Increases the distance at which Rakan can jump to Xayah's side. The distance difference isn't minor but it's also probably not something that either makes or breaks whether the champion(s) are worth playing.
This shows the distance difference:
W (Xayah): Deadly Plumage - If Rakan is nearby he also gains the abilities of Deadly Plumage. I'm not entirely sure how this'll be implemented, but it looks like it'll give Rakan extra damage and extra speed for auto attacks and a bit of extra movement speed. This is arguably the biggest difference and could be pretty powerful in lane. But after laning it'll only be a minor benefit. From the video it doesn't look like Rakan gets the feathers, so no extra damage from Xayah's E.
Recall: Can sync up recall. This is definitely helpful for solo queue, and it could set up some pretty cool stuff in pro play, but is it enough to be bannable? Probably not.
Overall, unless the kits are overtuned without the interactions, I'm not sure I see it causing major bans of one-but-not-the-other. It's possible there might be a situation where it's worth picking X if and only if R is also picked, but that doesn't make it an autoban by itself..-

yeah hard to say because your KDAs really are phenomenal. That's explained in part by your two highest played champs being Ivern and Sona, which should normally have higher KDAs, but it's not everything as a Silver Ivern player averages a KDA of 3.6. Plus every other champ also has above average KDAs. Your KDA on Ziggs is 5.0 and you're 3 out of 10 on him. The average KDA for a Silver Ziggs player is 2.5.
I guess theoretically you could be playing too passively and letting objectives and teammates get killed in fights that could have otherwise been turned around. Or something. But who knows. Could just be bad luck I suppose!.-

So MSI starts tomorrow, for what that's worth. I'm glad they're adding a play-in stage with more minor league teams.
The finish may make a difference for worlds with the new changes to the worlds format. Like last year, the top 4 region finishers get a first seed in the group stage, but this time with worlds expanding to 24 teams and having a play-in stage, the best wild card region gets an automatic spot in the group stage, which even the #3 teams from EU, NA, LMS, and China don't get..-

That's true, but this makes that wild card part far more like the "main" part of the tournament. It'll be worth watching as the number three seeds from major regions are competing too. And some qualifier groups may have 2-3 major regions in it. Theoretically it's possible that some group might have China #3, EU #3 and NA #3, meaning at least one won't even make the Best of 5 qualifier series.
And then the Best of 5 is very likely to have at least one set of major region vs. major region game.
I think Gigabyte Marines probably won't manage to get in the Top 4, but if they look as good as they did here, they'll probably get to at least the Best of 5 portion. But given they beat WE, there's still a chance they'll qualify. They need to beat TSM again though..-

Well, if the game isn't as fun for you or your friends, that's one thing, and I understand it. Tastes change, maybe you liked the things that it was in the past, etc. I don't agree (I've played the game since Season 3 and the game is much, much better now), but I can understand it.In post 2924, RadiantCowbells wrote:I don't play anymore so I am going off of what seems to be the general consensus from my friends that still do.
It's not dead but it's certainly declined both in playerbase and quality of experience from the times that I am talking about. I tried to get back into it multiple times and it just doesn't feel the same anymore for me for several reasons, some of which are due to personal changes but a lot of it is due to changes in the game.
The emphasis on helping junglers gank more without getting behind is awful and the current 'free ward' situation is awful. I used to go back and buy four wards for both sides of the lane for 6 minutes because I would get camped so much and now I can only ward one side some of the time.
But if you're making a statement about user base, then at least we have some non-subjective thing to base it on, and it's just utterly false -- particularly from the seasons you cited. Last September, it was reported that it now has over 100 million monthly active users. That represents an increase from 2014's 67 million monthly users. 2011 had 15M and 2013 had 32 million. So really, the time period you cite far, far lags behind the current day's player base. At some point the game will stop growing and start declining, but at least 2016 was not that year.
On Twitch, it remains the most popular streamed game even outside of esports. I don't know why people care about this, but after a brief time with Overwatch taking most played during LoL's offseason, LoL is once again considerably more played than any other game in PC Bangs in Korea (http://game.dailyesports.com/view.php?u ... 7304973812)..-

AFK Stats! http://www.leagueofgraphs.com/rankings/afk-stats
11% of Bronze games have an AFK.
It rapidly goes down from there: Silver 7.1%, Gold 5.3%, Platinum 4.2%, Diamond 3.3%, Master 2.2%
So if you're Gold, roughly 1 in 20 games has an AFK
Regions vary from 10.7% of games having an AFK (Brazil with LAS, LAN and Turkey close behind) to 3.3% (Japan). Korea is 3.6% and NA is 5.3%
Xin Zhaos have an AFK rate that is roughly twice as high as Ezreals..-

indeed. Particularly because while my rank may have soft reset, my MMR is probably quite a bit better than I am. One of the two non-ARAMs I've played this year was as Zito's ADC, and I think he may have JUST constrained himself from asking whether I was a complete idiot. To be fair, even when I played a lot, I was not a good ADC.
But whatever, I'm going to figure out thesemasteriesrunes before I do anything..-
