We talked on Irc about possible new servers. It was suggested that FTB Horizons 3 would be good because it has some mods we don't usually have.

Since Akliz allows up to 8 servers to be defined as long as the active ones don't exceed the memory allocation, here's what I did.
The DW20 server is stopped but still there in case someone wants it.

A new server is started on FTB Horizons 3 (1.12.2, modpack version 1.7.0) using the standard out of the box modpack settings.
New server address is mshoriz3.g.akliz.net -- no need for a port number. It isn't on IRC yet, that takes a small amount of extra work.

Turns out Horizons doesn't have quite as many mods.

Started another server, on FTB Revelation for MC 1.12.2, modpack version 1.6.
Server address for this one is msrevel.g.akliz.net.

get the twitch client, click mods for minecraft, find FTB Relevation, dl that, the server ip is as above

Too bad. You need to use it now. Legacy FTB client seems disconnected, and Curse is joined at the hip with Twitch now.

well, you could download files via the twitch client, then transfer that to multimc if you hate it that much

but thats kinda a waste of time >.>

I know it’s still available; I have it downloaded. And the place I posted earlier in the thread is still active, I just haven’t been able to actually download anything from it, or even get it to connect to the FTB servers.

soooooo...

the school semester ends in a few weeks, and i'd like to start working on a new custom pack at that time. the horizons server will be around until i'm done with that at least, which shouldn't take too long but at least a couple weeks, maybe? final exams are the week of the 24th, so figure it could potentially be up and running by early/mid-may. thoughts?
