I work early Sundays. Which makes Saturdays a real pain in the ass to play for any length of time. Being up at 2am, when I have to be up at 7 (if Im being lazy) is basically out for me. Sundays are fine though.

Next weekend will be something fun! what time slot EST on saturday or sunday works best for everyone? we can run it on both dates if necessary

EST before 6PM typically is best for me as thats usually about when I go in to work. If I get at least a week's notice on events I can always ask for specific times off.

as i've recently found myself unemployed until i decide i want to have a job again, i'll be playing quite a bit more often

im probably gonna get back to vanilla for now until i remember how to modded

i haven't played SMP since i got kicked off a random server two years ago for having my laptop in for repairs for two weeks. apparently i flaked despite giving notice to the admin :shrug:

annoying that i never completed my lakehouse+base in the mountain. really random build but when i saw that terrain (ocean on the other side) i knew it was perfect

day 1:

followed the brickroad, fought a spider for string by someone's house armed with nothing but eggs i borrowed from someone's collector. not effective on spiders, but effective in keeping away the creeper trying to make the fight a 2v1. killed spider, collected string. ran from creeper

death 1 from kissing dirt

investigated NPC village near spawn. armed with nothing but a wood sword fought skeleton in a deserted town.

death 2 to skeleton

investigated spawn river. ended up in combat with a witch. for future reference, you can't seem to 1v1 witches with wooden swords.

death 3 to choking on own bodily fluids

momma didn't raise no coward

If you get tired of the wind noise, placing them at higher altitude reduces the noise and may increase power (though I never measured that and am not sure about it).

There is an alternative method of reclaiming the channel, if we can't get everyone to logoff.

Went and pulled up my computer, I don't currently have irc open with maru home logged in, so the only account logged in I no longer have access to and all my attempts to contact Corin over the past few years has met little success

ah, didn't realize the Maruchan one isn't you. That changes everything about how the channel gets recovered.

I went ahead and got opped by the sysop. This let me register the channel and give ETL founder permissions.

Not 1.11. Not enough mods/support.

For now I'm taking down the Bevo server and putting up a server with the DW20 1.10.2 pack from FTB. World file for the old server will be uploaded.
