Pros: Feels a bit more like you're one nation in a larger world, you get to vote on things you like and against things you don't. Political chicanery regarding endorsing other people to become regional WA delegate becomes an option.

Cons: Your nation has to abide by any WA resolutions passed whether you like them or not. (I'm not sure to what extent this actually affects your nation, though.)
HackerHuck wrote:Has this actually improved? I played a few years back after one of these threads started and it got stale pretty quickly. I just remember a daily dose of survey questions.
It's not massively different but they have a few fun new options to play with, like being able to name your capital, religion and leader, and some slight developments in regional relations. It's essentially the same game, though. It was never all that deep, just a bit of a lark.

There's a game called Ars Regendi that's very similar to this, but adds wars and maps and stuff. Only problem is that it's based in Germany with a really rough English translation.

I'd like to announce my intent to regain my former position of WA Delegate for Mafiascum.

Not that I will be rescinding any endorsements made of any competitors: that'd be low.

And we need to stop having a new election every 12 hours. We need to set up some sort of process for these things.

endorsements are tabulated, verified and updated every 12 hours automatikally by the server: we don't really have a say on the matter, but if someone konsistently has the most endorsements then they'll be konsistently the Delegate

What I'm saying is that we don't have a stable leader. This causes confusion and sudden policy swings.

This whole thread is kind of about how we're already in a Mafiascum region. Reading, do you speak it.

Aha.

And oops - I found the old thread in the archive (edit: http://www.mafiascum.net/archive/viewtopic.php?t=575 ). Turns out I was misspelling my nation's name the wrong way. Will try again...

Yeah, I found the link in the archive, but I can't seem to read it. Here's the error I get.

Reaaaaally. Fascinating, as it shows up for me just fine every time, even if I'm not logged in (so it's not a permission issue). Do you get that clicking my link above?

I never said nothin' back to him. You don't want mess with no freak that's searchin' around that hard for blood.

Yes (using IE), but I just pasted it into Firefox and it worked fine.

Oddly enough, that's the older thread with the info. There's a newer one (also gave me the same error), that I'll have to dig up and post. I can't remember what I called my country.

Here is the other thread...
