You could literally encounter any Pokemon in the wild, plus the three starters are randomized too.
Like you could start with a Ninetails and battle a lvl 2 Gyrados in the grass.

I played nuzlocke Pearl once.

My 2nd encountered pokemon was an abra that teleported. I threw my DS down and haven't touched it since.

AniX: It was an Unown H. I was urged to name it hitogoroshi but that is 11 letters and "hito" just didn't feel right. It's Hidden Power is Water and I don't know the base power.

No nuzlocke tonight guys! I did beat White's Elite Four though, and caught all three of the Musketeer Trio. Virizion <3

I beat the 7th gym a few weeks ago and havent progressed much since(saved game in tower after 7th gym.)
