The Pokemon Nuzlocke Thread

A squabble of people in the facebook chat were doing these so I figured we could open it up to the whole site.
Nuzlocke is a concept developed to up the difficulty of any pokemon games. There are three basic rules:
1. You may only catch the first pokemon you encounter in an area.
2. If a pokemon faints, IT IS DEAD. Just kidding! If you are too attached to the pokemon, you can just put in a PC box labeled "dead" or something.
3. You have to nickname each pokemon you catch. This ups the emotional attachment.
There are TONS upons TONS of additional rules and variations that you can add. It's your game, so as long as you stick to these basic rules it's ok I guess? No one will be judging you. ^_^

I finished Emerald not too long ago with randomizer(random starter, random encounters)
Doing Black Nuzlocke with Random Encounters right now(not random starter though, just benched it when I got 6 other pokemon.)

I started a Nuzlocke due to pressure in scumchat (Emerald, not random), but got demoralized after two critical hits in a double battle killed my Marshtomp (my best Pokemon too). Plus I have two Beautiflies.

Finished my Emerald Nuzlocke random recently. Starting with a Kyogre is awesome for speedrunning, not so great for actual fun.

I considered that at first. I'd find it cool, especially if you name them after scummers, but touhoumon is way harder than the normal pokemon games so you're gonna have to be grindey =P
Also I'm sorry, but if I get a bellsprout I'm naming it JD, because JD makes a fiiiiiiiine victreebel.

I started a Touhoumon Nuzlocke run anyway.
Chesskid is my rival lol :V
EDIT: My starter was Reimu, who I named Vi. Chesskid took Marisa.
EDIT AGAIN: Lol, I'm lucky Vi got a crit against a CKanako. Otherwise I would have lost to my second encounter in the game (excluding the inevitable battle with chesskid).
