I'm not nearly as high on Bastion as some people, but I did really like the music. I also liked the music from Dragon Age: Origins, the Mass Effect games, and the Uncharted games, all highly cinematic. But I'm not sure how likely I'd be to listen to any of those on their own

Okami is an absoultely amazing game, innovative gameplay, great art and amazing music. Easily one of my favorite games of all time.

I won't post it all, but American McGee's Alice (the first version in 2000) has a wonderful soundtrack by Chris Vrenna.

I will say that the videos posted by Athrix255 are the way to go if you want to hear more, since he posted the stuff ripped straight from the game as opposed to the official OST, which unfortunately was marred by some fool thinking it was a good idea to insert quotes from the game into the otherwise instrumental music.

Yeah, Bastion's soundtrack was phenomenal. Great game, too.

Also, is music that was used in videogames but not originally made for them appropriate for this thread? Because the music for Braid and Triachnid was also great.
