Yeah man, a couple of splits ago I lost the first three weeks because I just so happened to be paired against the ONE person who got more points than me. Had the second highest points all three weeks, ended the split with most points overall and still lost by a fair margin because of those games. Feels bad, man. <3

Three of the four people who were still in the running to beat PEG lost this week, with zoraster needing to win a tiebreaker from point totals if PEG manages to lose to Glork next week. GG! Hoping to clinch third place at the very least!

I believe I'll need to get 93.72 or more points than PEG next week to win (as well as have him lose). It's not unthinkable, but difficult.

is there a reason that the NA LCS is having a promotion tournament?

if you have an lcs spot and don't get into the league next year, you get financial compensation
if you don't have a spot, it costs extra if you get in next year
I think it's 3 million dollars in both cases

it seems all that this slightly affected is how much money tl or p1 get if they don't get a spot next year

It's going to be super interesting to see who gets a franchise. We should have betting odds.

If the NALCS were the only league riot was responsible for, the results almost certainly would be different. A league would almost certainly want to take Fnatic. Fnatic has a super strong brand, is well established, and would be an asset to the league. But I cannot see Riot allowing one of the tentpole members of the EU LCS being allowed to join NA. I think Fnatic has to know that, but I suspect they and G2 may have applied to make a point more than anything else.

I rly hope they keep eu like it is tbh. there are a lot of local scenes over here that would be rly damaged by changing to the NA format.

I don't think he meant changing EU to franchising, but that Fnatic and G2 both applied to join the NA Franchised League.
