Why should I cry? It's not league. Fights don't matter. Mistakes don't matter. Strategy doesn't exist. Riot made the game 30 minutes of reckless aggression and 50/50 barons so silvers and bronzes would watch it because that's 75% of the player base , and they were successful. The pros play just like them now.

But hey, now that there's probably only 1 good team left, it'll really save me on data trying to watch from work and save time doing vods in the morning. So really the winner is me.

It's not league because it's not being played like league has been played at the professional level for the entirety of its existence as a game.

Every game sucks. Every game goes the same way. The vision changes, the baron changes, and the ad changes has made a game that is as garbage to watch as it is to play. Makes sense that they would advertise this as best world's meta with 0 decision making and 0 skill expression when they trying to court new players because they are hemorrhaging players because the game sucks.

Bring back ardent please. Bring back carries mattering. Bring back vision. Bring back decisions.

It's not a coincidence that the game being less strategy based and entirely centered around free fights is being won by Western teams that have struggled with macro for 8 years.

Yes, quickshot, it's because this meta is trash and the only mistakes that matter are ones at 28 minutes near Baron, because death timers are too short that you can't sufficiently punish bad players for their mistakes.

Also, I've yet to be presented a reasonable argument that is against what I'm saying. No reason why they enjoy the meta. Nothing other than insults, "salt", and Go (western team). The product is still very watchable.

Both of those are significantly better than this cause there were decisions and counter play.

Ardent was arguably the best meta there ever was.

Everyone understood what your opinion is on your first post, noone agreed with it, everyone could move on, but no, you have to make 10 more posts about it whenever anyone else says something.

I'd argue this is the most enjoyable world's meta yet (although the best match is still SKT vs. ROX Worlds 2016 Semi-finals) . And I definitely would have said that BEFORE Korea went out. It's certainly a more aggressive meta, but that doesn't mean there's no strategy (watching G2 carry out their 1-3-1 strat so well is hard to ignore). There's a lot of variety. Generally speaking, I hated any version of the protect the X comps that was so one dimensional, so last year's worlds was not my favorite.

Dude, I get playing to win. I understand. This isn't enjoyable to watch and I'm baffled as to why anyone thinks that it is, and despite everyone else being in agreement no one will offer a reason as to why: so a) you don't know what's going on or b) you don't genuinely enjoy it and only enjoy the result.

Why is it the best? Variety is a bullshit answer because there actually is no variety when every game bakes down to the same exact 26 minute baron play, every series besides kt-ig as basically been deja vu.
