I think there's supposed to be a 2 week delay between Phase 3 and Phase 4, isn't there?

I did hear that this run was supposed to be a little longer, though. Something to do with testing the Duty system.

2 week delay would make sense, since early access will probably mean august 20th, and probably be shutdown for a week before, phase 4 probably end aug 13th and be up for 3 weeks, so end 3rd week in july... so maybe no delay actually... unless this phase is 2 weeks, 1 week off then phase 4 starts

I remember someone else being really excited about FFXIV. Was it Fenchurch? Can't recall.

Not me! I've barely played any Final Fantasy games. I did read up on this a bit the other day though, after I saw the thread posted. The characters look good and it sounds interesting. I liked WoW; is it like WoW?

I'm not really in a hurry to get into any MMO's though... it doesn't seem a wise move.

I got 4 fancy equipment-things from duties yesterday. Total bummer that it'll all get wiped. More competent mage players were cross with me. :X

Really excited for open beta.

I'm happy that the game culture is already changing some. When it started it reminded me of when I made starter characters on WoW. Everyone was very stoic and kept to themselves.

In this game, after the first duty (i.e., raid/dungeon) when no one quite knew what was going on, everyone has been very group-oriented and friendly and social.

Tans should make a chart of all the character names in the OP. He can steal the formatting from the Starcraft thread. But it may make more sense to do this after the character wipe.
