this is the group I have currently. the Mac/Linux people seemed kind of iffy. if you want in just let us know. This week is going to be preseason. I'll hang out in the lobby when I'm at home. Shoot me a PM/IM if you want to play a game and I'm not paying attention. I'm willing to help newbies learn, I think Reck is too. Gamma is a shark, so watch out for him.

pretty sure im more irritated than i should be that some random kept choosing really easy spy modes whenever he was playing spy

any 4 of 7 on ballroom and VERANDA are pretty retarded for sniper to work with

i like fiddling with it a lot actually, especially when playing with people who don't have as many or significantly more games than me, any 4 out of 5/6 is good on most maps i think though. probably needs to be 4 out of 6 once everyone gets good enough with being sure of tells but 4 out of 5 is pretty awesome for beginnerish play i think.

anything thats 3 of X seems real easy for spy on anything except balcony though, where any 3 of 4 is fun but you have to be either very good or good and lucky as spy to pull it off

Season 1 should probably be in the Ballroom. I'm still thinking about how it should go. I'm weighing the benefits of allowing playstyle choice be a factor for Spy against the benefits of complete standardization.

I would also suggest we ban Purloin Guest List if we're doing ballroom, because the sniper vantage point isn't designed to be able to see it well. The mission was really just designed for the new map, whatever it's called, the U-shaped one.

That works. I think 4 of 6 is best, simply because 5 puts you on a REALLY tight time limit.
