I have NOT been having the same luck with quest rogue as the rest of the 99% hs players lol. its actually pretty funny.

I crafted this the first day of un'gora's opening. played the quest right away but it wld not stack my minions in the quest no matter how many I played. I played swashburglar a trillion times and it STILL wldn't change from zero. I thought "wth am I doing wrong" asked somebody and they said use bounce cards, which is what I was doing and then I realized that it was buggy so made some noises and then uninstalled then reinstalled the game. then I got the new flashy skin for rogue but the place where it was supposed to be showed up as a black spot and it was clearly missing the skin. resolved that when hs closed for technical reasons. played it again and then quickly realised jade golem did not count lol.

THEN the rogue quest card wld only count the first minion I played. I went to the hs forums and read all of these OMG QUEST ROGUE IS SO OPED ITS UNFAIR threads and was like okay this is a bug so I uninstalled and then reinstalled. fixed.

and now my card draws suck. lol, I am not completing the quest in t4 like every1 else and their mothers are. whenever I try to play it my rank plummets so fast that I do not see the ground until my face hits it.

I wish I had the same experiences as these hordes of other pple! it is my favourite class.

BUT. hunter is now fun again despite me not having call of the wild. I wish I wld have crafted warrior's quest instead.

elise the trailblazer tho makes it feel like xmas every time I draw it and I get my un'gora pack pretty quickly. I love that it is neutral.

Trying to play hearthstone a big but I really struggle getting over how random things can be. The RNG determines too much of what you do.

I played a few hours a day for most of a week to do all the quests and finally get enough gold to unlock the next wing of kara for swashburgler and then did the wing in like 30 minutes last night

there's still class challenges and theoretically heroic mode to go through if I want (the big bad wolf one should be easy with rogue-quest) but man I wish it felt like there was more actual game for the amount of time you have to grind to unlock a wing

heroic mode is where i get all my value in the expansions

I think the issue with discover is in arena. Unless I'm crazy it doesn't seem to be weighted by rarity there, so common discover cards are a way to get ridiculous class cards at higher rarities.

I mean if the rogue gets the dream hand it automatically wins, doesn't matter what it's facing, but taunt warrior has a good matchup against it otherwise.

it can beat aggro because reno and amara, and it can beat control becuase n'zoth sylvanas and entomb

I've had 2 12-win arena runs in a row.

Granted, with Rogue and Mage, but still. I'm getting good at this?

I'd consider even 1 12-win as being good at arena.

I just played priest in tavern brawl and it's the random legendaries one. I had finja and murk-eye in my deck. I won turn 3

I think I went 5-1 and got all my quests done. I won with some trash but also got some crazy shit. Emperor Thrassian, baron geddon, chillmaw, Ragnaros one game. The finja murk eye game. Old Shredder, barnes, prince malchirion or w/e, and the priest guy that makes 1/1s of your dudes. I think the game I lost I had lotheb but the hunter got spider ball off his first creature.

yeah Hearthstone atm is just annoying RNG at every corner, not even the good RNG that doesn't really negatively impact the game, just all frustrating RNG that infuriates one person, and doesn't really mean much for the other person because it happens every game.

Yeah, i play very very rarely now. Discover would be a good mechanic if the card pools were bigger, but they just aren't. Primordial Glyph is probably just broken regardless.

i play once in awhile to knock out a quest or two just bc the next expansion is rumored to be Lich King themed and i want to be ready

I mean worst case scenario, you get a mediocre spell that costs 2 less.

It's hard to think of 3 MAGE cards that are all worthless.

I think biggest worst case scenario is you get offered {Freezing Potion, Forbidden flame, Mirror Image}, and even that is still not an objectively bad outcome.

Otherwise, you have probably got at least one fairly useful spell, that now costs 2 mana less.

What about shatter

Got this PM'd to me, not sure why but i'll just put it in this post.

Shatter isn't even that bad because Frost bolt is standard Mage tech, and your basically getting a card that is "increase your frost bolt's damage to infinity."

Then there is also frost nova, which not fully standard but mostly used.
