Ultimate Videogame Topic 3: The Next Generation

This forum is specifically for discussing non-Mafia games
(board, card, video, we're not picky)
.
Playing
such games should happen in the Mish Mash forum, of course.

okay look everyone fawns over OoT but i really don't think it's that special especially nowadays

the nostalgia is great, but there are so many better zelda games

definitive ranking for me is probably:
Majora's Mask (N64, ported to 3DS)
Link Between Worlds (3DS release)
Wind Waker (only on Gamecube/Wii U)
Oracle of Ages/Seasons (probably on the 3DS store?)
Link to the Past (this is everyone's favorite but I didn't play it when it came out so meh)
Ocarina of Time
Link's Awakening
Minish Cap
Twilight Princess
Spirit Tracks
Skyward Sword
Zelda
Zelda 2
Phantom Hourglass
phantom hourglass is the only one I played so it's the best. obviously

I'm in love with the game but it's easy to argue that its not much of a zelda game. (at least as far as games since lttp and links awakening are concerned)
Taking a break from the site.

Iji has just received a massive update. It's one of my favorite indie games, and it's available for free, so I highly recommend it to all of you.

It's
very
different from all recent Zelda games, so it's not going to be for every fan of the series. I find it to be a breath of fresh air, frankly. It has plenty of issues(weapon durability is a garbage mechanic in all forms), but they're not enough to make me stop playing.

I agree with hasdgfas - this is the first game (after Wind Waker) that I've wanted to 100%...maybe not the 900 Korok seeds though.

I don't really care if it feels like Zelda. I'm just not wanting to play it? Again, maybe I'm just too early, or maybe its because I just finished Horizon Zero Dawn, but nothing in this game is really pulling me in.

Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

12 hours into Persona 5 and it is
superb
. I love how slick everything is - graphically, the music and the storyline blending. Slowly getting into the proper game which involves social links and stuff so here comes the anxiety about missing stuff and doing stuff wrong but it's just so much fun.

I played like 2 hours of point horizon or w/e the robot Dinosaur game is. It was cool but I thought the story was yuck and I wasted all that cutscene time.

~55 hours here - keep enjoying it and make sure you focus on those social stats, they are harder (i.e. more points needed) than the last two games.

Yup, maxing out knowledge takes around 110 points. It's ridiculous.
