It's just that between DLC and the other games, I've probably spent $100 on the borderlands franchise already. And there's nothing that strikes me as revolutionary there, just more of the same.
I dunno, I'm tired of people recycling the engine, adding a few doohickeys and calling it a brand new game.
Because of my feelings on this game, I do agree on waiting for a sale. Yeah the jump mechanics and cryo were something awesome and refreshing and all the classes are fun in their own way. BUT. The lack of farmable gear in this game drives me fucking crazy. This is the legendary drop list: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing ...I just cant even with that list. 1/2 of the items are world drop only at this stage.
BUT. In the long run I have purchased this franchise for both PC and PS3. I love it so much. so so much. Wouldn't change anything.

Dl'ed Borderland II and started today as Maya. I'm enjoying the phaselock thus far.

Oh, I won the PS3 version in a cosplay contest. Gearbox was there and there was a lot of talk about them with diversity in gaming.
Haven't played it yet but I will when I get in the mood. Also Tales from the Borderlands I'm probably gonna just watch a Let's Play of, oops!
