Did you guys get a $10 bump to games as well?

Our games went from $60 to $70 for console games, and I was like screw you then, I'll just start PC for everything, just saw Watch Dogs on PC is $60 now where PC games were usually $50...

I mean, I kinda understand it, games like Zelda back in NES games were like $70 and when you factor in cost of inflation games then would be like $100 now, but I would have thought supply and demand woulda kind of evened things out, since gaming is much more mainstream now it would offset the cost of development for these games...

Just wondering if everyone else got hosed with a $10 jump as well? (I say hosed because even when our $ was on par or worth more, games were still $10 more than in the USA) :D

Steam sales are going to be the only way I play games for a good long while. $70 is just too much for me.

They're still generally 60 for a new game in the US.

I remember I was annoyed when they went from 50 to 60 when we went from the PS2 era to the PS3/360 era which was one of the reasons I nearly jumped on the Wii bandwagon.

Steam is great because it demonstrates that you don't have to charge 60 dollars for a new game and you don't need ridiculous development costs to make a relevant game.
