Finished T&T last night; that was really good. Although I expected the final culprit would be
Dahlia and not Godot.

Started game 4; Phoenix looks really weird in this. The new spiky hair is alright, I guess, but ditching the blue suit for a red vest seems like an odd choice.

Spoiler: finished aa6, rambling inside
It was good. I'm going to pretend Dual Destinies never existed and this is what came after AA4. I mean, none of the characters introduced in Dual Destinies have come to have any sort of enduring relevance to the series as a whole. Every game has a filler case; in my opinion, Spirit of Justice reveals Dual Destinies to be a filler
game
.

I liked the conceit of the Divination Seance
a lot
—what an inventive way to refresh the mechanics. I liked the plot twist re: Dhurke, I did think that was the only genuinely shocking twist all game. (Still more genuinely shocking twists than Dual Destinies!) I thought the appearance of prosopagnosia was amusing. I was really happy to see all the worthy extended cast members appear at one time or another, although it is a shame that a lot of the characters felt pretty static. I liked Dhurke a lot, Alhbi and Datz too, and Rayfa and Nahy were decent by the end.

I had a few irritating moments knowing what the contradiction was but not being able to work out the right evidence to submit at the right statement, but that's par for the course in an AA game. I thought there was a big plot hole in the fourth case about how the door to the yard opens... but nobody else has brought it up so maybe I'm just losing it. Anyway, that was probably the weakest case all game. No surprise it was headed up by Cykes and Boopquack.

Games ranked best to worst:

AA3
AA4 = AA6
AA2 = AA1 = AAI1
AA5

Has anyone played the DLC?

Hey.
Do you guys do that roleplay stuff here? Where you pretend Ace Attorney events are happening in real life?

Objection!

No
Also, what is NM doing? Worst play I’ve ever seen.
I can't remember the last N_M post that wasn't bland, unimaginative and lame. Some shitposters are at least somewhat funny. You are the epitomy of the type of poster that nobody would miss if you were to suddenly disappear. You never add anything of value.
I'm guessing you haven't read the game and probably never will? Why even sign up to play?

played through the dlc case, i was slow for no particular reason
it's solid. they tried to go for an original trilogy feel for the most part so things are a bit quicker paced than the trials in the maingame. the villain was a bit disappointing and predictable i felt.

Started one of the side games. Looks alright, but gameplay seems more adventure style than the previous games. Not sure I like the way Phoenix looks in this purple suit, though. And what happened to his hair spikes?

WHY IS CALLED PHOENIX WRIGHT THEN?

Yeah. Phoenix is all British and gave up defending for prosecuting for some reason. I assume it'll get explained.

No, Edgeworth is Phoenix's rival. It was the plot of the first three games, remember?
