When they talked about this in SDR2 and Monokuma said he'd get very angry in this situation, I posted in the comments of the video about how that was an interesting take and what would happen if it really did happen, how would they run it, and someone commented that if it was in V3 it would have gotten explained because they explain everything. THAT WAS A TEASER.
  
• That resolution is a SERIOUS disappointment, and I'd bet money it's the same person who killed both.

Before we begin, I'm curious if I can easily spot the backroute in this one like I did in case 2.<BONUS CONTENT: I decided to actually watch footage of the backroutes for the previous cases and the first one in case 2 mentions white knighting, lol>

OH GOSH TIME FOR A LIE. Is the Scrum coming up too, since those seem to come as a group? I also see what they want: they want you to use "Tenko's Last Moments" and lie that she immediately died. The great part is it reminds me of a meme from Ace Attorney, won't say what but if you know it you can laugh with me.

Lost some of my stuff to getting logged out, tl;dr is I don't really have much to say except Kiyo's motive is really cool tbh, it's kinda elevating how I felt about Celeste's motivation in 1-3, where I liked her having an ulterior motive but the killing was a route to it, but HERE the killing is the end itself. The incest part is weird but given Kiyo being an anthropologist I think it feels less weird from him. I only say this because I've taken an anthropology class myself and there was some interesting stuff brought up regarding the bounds of incest, like cross-cousins.

Monodam is gonna die too, calling it. Also this is freakishly similar to Celeste's death imo. MONODAM KILLED HIMSELF?

What bits of media is considered canon?

I haven't really checked anything out beyond the games and the DR3 anime, but my policy is this: the core media is the "most canon". In this case, the games and DR3 anime. For Pokemon, I consider the "core media" the games. After the core franchise secondary media (for Pokemon, the anime) come next, then extraneous media. So if something outside the core media contradicts the core media, I go with the core media's version.
At least that my perspective, not sure if you were asking me specifically or the whole thread.

I've been playing another episode, but my controller is broken so it disconnects randomly. During the invasion in chapter three, my controller went out and I could do nothing but watch everyone day as Komaru just walked slowly in a circle. Then she died. I did get the controller working and beat that whole chapter but I'm gonna wait till I have a controller before continuing.

Given that it's cited in one of the games, yes. However I had to think about it because that + the anime makes the timeline a little janky, but I think I figured out about how things work out. DR0 takes place after the Incident but before the corruption of Class 77-B.
