That kind of attitude isn't gonna make you friends. You only seem concerned with being "right" rather than expressing an opinion :) :) :)

You're not going to be able to convince me that something I enjoyed is actually something I didn't enjoy.

Can we all agree Makoto is by far the worst protagonist?

Yes, Makoto is such a log.

shuichi
was worst one

fake AF

the character development was really bad. his relationships made no sense. and he was stupid while he was supposed to be smart and every other character were seeing him smart.

Spoiler:
The end of drv3 was horseshit cause:

1 - characters completely threw the case one investigation they were pushing in the trash can midway through trying to follow a completely unrelated shit.

2 - the whole "we're not real" part was bullshit. to the characters they are real ones and whatever that is not there is a fantasy. its like debating we're anime and the anime characters are real ones. characters self-doubt there was a joke.

3 - the whole hope vs despair fight classic and the breaking the cycle has no meaning. like we're not following hope! good for you? it was just a failed try to show them as a loop and to show characters briliant to break that loop when there was no loop to being with.

4 - the whole - showing it was a show to please people - was a good thing. but that part about them controling a robot and changing votes and voices and crap just made my blood boil - specialy since my major was about social networking.

and I for one figured the case 1 result was fake and that it didn't make sense when I was playing the game and I realized memory implant at start of prologue so I'm not really biased about how cool they were in drv3 and am counting those cool twists as something that happened before ending and I wasn't talking about them

Junko seemed pretty cool. I'm sad she died before we really got much time with her.

I feel like somebody should have warned me that there would be more than one death in this thing.

Heads up, I've played all three of these games and I'm currently in an OC roleplay related thing (just in case you want to know where I disappeared to) but...

DR1 - I stopped after Chapter 1 for reasons.
DR2 - I liked this. I hated some parts but...I liked the ending.
DRV3 - It's...okay. I was ambivalent about the ending at first but definitely now I didn't like the twist at the end just because it ruins the worldbuilding.

Also, spoilers. More than one person dies in this game.

Also, V3's execution scenes are brutal. One of them made my body feel numb and cold that I had to skip all subsequent ones just because of it.

I finished the second chapter last night, so I've just watched Mondo's toxic masculinity spoil the party. I'm also not sure what to make of how the game handles Chihiro's gender reveal.

idk your dr1 reasons so no judgment! but you missed a great game!

dr2 ending made me cry. I mean the part before ending I couldn't understand ending as I was crying my eyes out and I just wanted it to finish

Never heard someone call Mondo's masculinity toxic. I guess I get it though.

As for the gender reveal it's kinda cringe. Like I can't not imagine how things went down despite there being 0 animation for it. I do like the subtle hints before the case though.

Given that Mondo's motive was that he felt insecure and didn't know how to handle it other than to lash out at Chihiro, I think I'm justified in calling it toxic.
