C9 bested Alliance and NWS. TSM had no real test. Also, SSB is the weaker team of SSB/SSW (everyone took a game off them), whereas C9 is objectively stronger than TSM on an international level. C9s play style is brainy and that's what beats Koreans.

It's unlikely either wins, but if one NA team was going to win their matchup, it's C9.

so i did some hypotheticals and tons of people are still in this thing. The only time it sucks right now is if you can find someone who made your same picks but who currently has more points. For example, the only way I win is if Edward Gaming wins their game against Royal Club otherwise pickemgenius will beat me even if Samsung Blue wins it all.

I like the very speculative picks from people who didn't have that many points. it's what you need to win. If you are the only one who had, for example, Cloud9 winning, you'll almost certainly win if they make it to the end.

So good job, hiplop, myk, bv, gamma and BRO. You may have had a bad group stage, but at least you're giving yourself a chance to win it all. Same goes for chamber/LLD but obviously that ship has sailed.

In fact I'm kind of amazed that hiplop is the only NWS pick. Seems like the most solid hail mary on the board. That said, hiplop basically needs to be perfect even with a NWS win as SSB losing to SSW will allow Saki to win.

I think Saki is the team to beat right now. If the favorites all win out, Saki wins it all. In a lot of other circumstances he wins too just because there aren't enough people who made those alternate picks.

Obviously I disagree. We saw the best NWS in their run, and I'm not even sure if that would be enough to beat blue-white. On top of that, they need stars to allign to reproduce that, they simply aren't solid as a team, imo.

And I don't think we've seen the best EDG yet. And they have a reputation of being solid. Maaaybe even good enough to take out the winner of the brother murder in the semi.

If Samsung White beats Blue, Panzer has a 75% chance of winning.

If Samsung Blue beats White, it's equally likely that each other person will win.

If OMG wins it all, Gamma wins, as he is the ONLY person to choose them to win a semifinal match, let alone the finals.

Saki & PEG both have 24 points right now, and they both picked SSB + NotOMG, then SSB for the champs. Wouldn't that make them tied?
