I mean, it played ok, but its really similar to league. So a game that similar to league is going to need to have a strong selling point to make up for me having to relearn everything. I liked this games objective better than baron, but I liked this games visual style way worse, and league is getting a visual update sooner than later anyway.

Heroes I've tried so far and my thoughts:

Bastion: Holy shit, what a fun champion! Deceptively tanky and able to dish out a shitload of damage. Cone of damage + dash that stuns enemies. Pretty easy but very fun.

Blazer: I don't really get her ult, but man does she do a ton of damage. Probably the best poke champion I've played so far, because her fully charged Q does a ton of damage. Good CC with the tether, but her ult seems better suited for an assassin and she doesn't seem to fit that bill?

Bo: Very fun, good gank potential, able to single-handedly turn and win teamfights. The dash boots are awesome on this guy.

Claudessa: Typical tanky initiator. Reminds me of Leona. Good champ but not very fun to play, doesn't fit my style.

Hale: Was drunk when I played him but his Q resetting on kills/assists seems broken as balls, especially with his lifesteal.

Moxie: I cannot figure out how to play this dude. I've seen him just wreck games as a typical mage caster but I am shit with him.

Rook: Awesome character, super mobile, tons of damage.

Shank: Probably the best champion I've played so far. Hook is great and he can dive like a motherfucker.

Vermillion: Abilities are all just passive, mostly, meaning he's the typical autoattack carry, but he's very fun.

Vex: Pantheon Ult + super long range nukes. Holyshitsofun.

tried Carter as well, don't like him as much. Probably just not familiar enough with the game to use him effectively though.

Strife is pretty fun, but I don't know if I prefer it or Smite for a get-fucked-up-and-slay-shit-with-friends game. It's kinda funny that S2's two games in the past 6 years are a DotA clone and a casual LoL wannabe game.
