I've been doing Nuzlocke runs in my old games, which keeps them interesting. I started one in Y after transferring everything over. Super Training and Pokemon-Amie make it a little easier than other versions, but I still lost half my team to a Kadabra after the first gym :I

I must be one of the only people who doesn't agree with this. Dunno why. I'm in awe of people who can be really into them - Nuzlocke just doesn't do anything for me. Too many limitations, I guess.

Funnily enough, I was replaying Platinum a while ago out of sheer boredom, and the writing in that game is actually... kinda... funny, on occasion. Like, there's actual decent humour, and I swear there's been some really subtle double entendre too. I mean, it's still super super tame, but compared to most Pokemon games, well, I had an awed expression coming over my face as I played through.

Yeah, I didn't play platinum until right before 6th gen came out. When I finally picked it up I was pretty impressed with some of the dialogue and such.

Barry is pretty dumb imo but in kind of a hilarious way? idk

FINALLY got to playing alpha sapphire. As someone who loved third gen, I had high expectations, and to be honest, they were met if not exceeded. Quality game, clearly a lot of thought went into it. Nicely done, game freak.
