Placements for Summer

So the following is true if there are no people who don't play in the summer split. I've listed the order of people who would replace into each division if there's someone who replaces out.

Division 1 (Top Prize: Non-Ultimate Skin (NA Server Only) or Real Life Trophy (US Shipping Only)

Order of Replacement:

Promotion after the Summer Split will place the bottom 2 teams in Division 1 into Division 2, the top 2 teams in Division 2 into Division 1, and a points for battle between Div1's 6th and Div2's 3rd.

Now that the split is over, I need to check the strength of my analytics.

I still managed to net-undervalue Fnatic despite buying into the hype >.>

I mean, who didn't? This season was all about the willingness to go all in on fnatic. And that might actually mean that weaker teams were more likely to win in the end than stronger ones (if I had had a bunch of SK players to begin with, would I have picked up tons of fnatic players? I don't know)

Zor - if Div 3 doesn't fill with people from this split, will you look for new people to fill in from the bottom?

i'll look for new people regardless. We can always try to fill a division 4 (although I think i'd probably make a division 3A and division 3B instead, both having a shot at being promoted to Division 2)

fwiw, I'm a bit concerned about the points-for Div 1 6th vs Div 2 3rd, thing - seems like the Div 2 3rd will basically always win, except in the case of a really lucky split for the Division 2 person or something. I don't see the point of not just doing bottom 3 for top 3.

It's very likely that it'll win, but that's okay with me (the alternative is to promote 3, relegate 3 as I don't think promote 2/relegate 2 is sufficient movement between leagues). But it's not necessarily true:

This season alone, FakeGod's 2,188's 6th place would have beaten mykonian's 2,149 3rd. I think that's unlikely, but it's certainly possible.

If you have a better promo/relegation criteria I'm all ears!

It's not bad - I like Mystery Skin because I always get random skins for champs I don't play, so I play them a few times.
