Well it came out such a long while ago and I got burnt out on it after about 6 months or so
It's a cute/fun game though

I mean here's the thing. It's a $30 investment, okay. And it may not be one of those games you sit down and burn through. But it's something that you'll pick up occasionally, play a bit, and then set down. For a very, very long time. I'd say the hours of playability in Animal Crossing is unmatched. You can just only do it so often since it's on a real life 24h schedule.
