I went to GenCon several years ago. Inicdentally, it was my first time ever meeting IRL that I'd met online. It was super fun, and not even a little scary. I also wound up putting together an impromptu cosplay which acutally wasn't too bad.

I prolly won't go this year because lawlcancer, but this thread is a super good idea.

Yeah I won't get to go next year because I will be having my surgery next June. Don't really want con-crud while recovering from brain surgery. Stupid tumors.

Last night I was able to secure downtown room from Friday on. I totally didn't expect that since we signed up so late. Still hoping I can get a Thursday night room added to it though.

Kinda juggling the financials... driving to Indy would suck, but a hotel room would be pretty cheap if me, my husband, and Gamma split one of the $90 rooms on the outskirts of town with a shuttle running.

Oh I lied, I did ACen 5 years ago, not GenCon. I get them mixed up. -_-
