Good thing about people who counter too much is you can punish them very hard by baiting it out. I find people throwing out two quick counters is more dangerous due to the inherent online lag.

I have also found if you grab someone at a ledge sometimes grab release will get a kill just due to people trying to immediately DI out of what they think is going to be a throw. Its another one of those good little Yoshi troll kills like neutral B

Melee is more of a technical fight, closest in the series to a 'sport', if you will.

Brawl is a party game for the lulz, best played with lots of friends.

Sm4sh is for the smash fans, lots of new characters, and it not only coasts on the popularity of its predecessors, it builds on them.

Project M is for people who like the increased roster of brawl with the technical play from melee.

They all have their own niche.

Brawl doesn't have a niche.

It's a "fun party game" that isn't actually fun because the design choices used to make it anti-competitive also made the game unfun for everyone.

Can't do that in any other game.

Apparently the current project m patch is amazing, and had that been made instead of brawl, melee would have died

I for one must say that project M is amazing, and I downloaded an outdated version.

So yeah, it's way better than melee and brawl.

Project M takes everything that was super good about Melee, makes it more accessible, and then applies better balance.

I put in my old melee disc which won't let me actually play matches but it lets me look at melee records.

Kirby is most followed by Pikachu. Least is Dr. Mario, out of all the clones, I found him to be the most boring.

Though I managed to get more K.O.'s with Dr. Mario than Gannondorf.

What are some of the charactors you play with a lot, what are some you never play as?
