My main worry is that he'll be a controversial character, as his building move sounds like tournament blacklist material, and we all know how that ended for Hero.

banjo's always been top of polls but he was still a big surprise. frankly every popular third party choice has been at the top of polls. every conceivable option for smash is talked about so much that it's looped back around to being a surprise again. But from my experience a lot of the talk was considering Dante, Travis, Gen VIII Pokémon rep etc., and Steve had kinda fallen off the radar to me so it caught me off guard which was great fun

Pig Ganon. He could have a moveset with some actual resemblance to a Ganon from literally any Zelda game, unlike Smash Ganondorf, and maintains the theme of every Zelda rep being the same three people. Oh also I like super heavy final boss characters.

The big problem with Zelda is there are so few plausible characters that are in multiple games. Much as I would love to see more Zelda representation if it's someone from botw or something I'll be salty.
