World of Light is fun and unique but I constantly get my ass handed to me in like every fight.

This AI in this game in general got a huge upgrade

Agreed. I like the limited unlocks, it lets me try new characters I wouldn't otherwise.

Yeah

I remember being super stubborn about using Lucario and Wii Fit Trainer because I didn’t feel they deserved to be in the game (yeah I’m petty) but now they are my crutches in WoL. They’re the only two characters I’ve unlocked so far that I can consistently win with.

I want to like her, but I feel really useless when I try. I think I just like characters with more range?

I'm loving K. Rool and also suddenly discovering marth/lucina, probably because they're so simple to pick up in a new game. Every direction just puts my sword in that direction.

I also think the belmonts are really fun but man do I suck with them.

Ike is really good to unlock characters. Quite fun. Also I'm liking the fact that miis are online now.

in world of light I ended up using bowser a lot. I think he will be a secondary. my main will still be my boi ganondorf but I haven't unlocked him in wol.

right now I am using simon to mix it up. after world of light I will go back to doing classic modes and then try to do the challenges.

Cloud still speaks Japanese being the only one to do so now that Marth and Roy took some English lessons. I wonder what in game reason Cloud could have for this.

ive only just been able to start playing because of a holiday in italy and i have spent like 3 hours on the game and it's just me setting up which music on which stage tbh i liked the old style of just a few tracks appearing uniquely per stage plus lots of tracks were set as unlikely to appear on any stage so I'm fixing that to my liking

That is good to hear, this is my first smash game and I'm getting my ass handed to me by the CPU in normal.

If I could bring back any mode from a past game, it would be stage builder. U could put targets in it and build ur own target tests and share them. Could also include platforms.

That way we can have a three for one special with less dev work.

Bowser is by far the quickest in WoL to grind through and unlock things

However the quickest way is to do the language change trick to be able to constantly fight new characters

I love how flexible the camera is yeah, how much of the stage you can see that you never would otherwise is insane (like in Castle Siege you can look off to the side and see they basically modelled the whole castle)
