This game fills me with determination. This is the kind of game that deserves its own thread.

Anyone else yet?

Also get out of this thread and stay out if you intend to play but have not yet. Just go away.

His theme was my favorite until

I'm in love with a fictional spider.

I'll go on record and say that this game made by one dude as a hobby is hands down the best subversion of video game violence in the history of mankind?

[comicsans]you're all lucky this doesn't work[/comicsans]

I've done it. I was concerned that might take a lot longer time to learn.

And I just noticed I didn't even use my pie!

i only just started this game yesterday but im in love with the dialogue and music and characters oh my god
im doing a no killing run and the ways you can disarm the enemies to spare them are super cool and unique
also i found out that you can pet a lesser dog so much that its head hits the top of the screen then loops around then hits the very bottom
"Lesser dog has gone where no dog has before"

(not sure how much of this i need to spoiler?)

I spent a very long time on that fight and would have spent as long as it took if it went any further. I tried ten more times after it stopped just to be sure. Have never laughed as hard at a game as that battle.

literally my only motivation to do a genocide route is to do the
sans battle

i feel so fucking heartless killing everything
its so difficult to do

So I finished a Neutral playthrough and
I killed Flowey at the end. Mettaton ruled the underworld.

I've gotten inconsistent information about this, but
it sounds like you can still get a pacifist ending without resetting on a subsequent playthrough. Sound reasonable.

You were never really his friend after all, were you?

It's totally worth it.

Iec, you are not locked permanently out of the good ending if that's what you mean. Yes you can just restart and do it.

i went pacifist the whole way (didn't even see the attack minigame until i literally had to fight in the
asgore

It's not nearly as fun as the dialogue, is it.

i wish the frequency of encounters was more consistent
going through the entirety of the ruins one last time and getting absolutely zero encounters and passing through the area only to realise you had more to kill is not fun if you wanna get genocide over and done with

i was about to complain that this game felt too easy to me but then i got to
genocide undyne
and was ripped to shreds by
the green attacks

oops

music is soooooo good tho

have literally been walking around for 10 minutes and ive only encountered two enemies
still need 4 more
:/

EDIT:
defeated sans on my 5th try. it's about as hard as undyne in terms of retries but its 10x more amazing to actually play

Restart vs reset vs reinstall needs clarification.

Once you kill a certain amount the save points will tell you how many you have left.

Restart at any time, true reset after good ending doesn't really clear everything, don't reinstall just:

open your start menu, search %appdata%, enter roaming, go up one folder and then into local, then undertale, then clear your undertale.ini file

and that's a real reset.
