Serebii's always a great resource. Apparently the "what Pokémon you can find" mechanic is complex as fuck in this game, though.

There's also QR scanning. So far, my team is Rowlett, Pichu, and Slowpoke, which I'm fairly pleased with. Although it's a bit inefficient, since Alola Raichu is apparently Psychic.
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

I've been using the QR scanning a lot.

My team is popplio but evolved. That bird thing, snorlax, mistrevius. Donkey guy and the dancing bird.

So glad I decided against a Nuzlocke first run :)

It's interesting because my experience has been exactly the opposite. Usually I feel as you do now but because SuMo is the first to come after PokeBank allowed me to really get my Living Dex off the ground I've been all business mapping what I need and where.

I've got you input, Anix.

Can we talk for a bit about Team Skull. Specifically, what's their deal, besides krumping?

I've read a lot about the trainer AI being a lot better in battles and often using more complex strategies including setting up for future moves and generally being a bit tougher - is this true? I hope so, because I breezed so much through X and OR that it wasn't even funny.

From what I've seen, it does seem like the AI is smarter, and the battles are tougher. Still not Dark Souls caliber, of course, but definitely harder than X was.

How are people's Nuzlockes going? I feel like a Nuzlocke would be impossible without overleveling and dirty dirty healspamming.

Any of you guys have your Moon Ball still and are willing to give/trade it to me? I am trying to stockpile the ball so I can catch the legendary bat in one without needing to reset every 5 minutes.

I have all the other Apricorn balls (Love/Friend/Lure/Fast/Heavy/Level) plus Master which I'll gladly trade. I also have Moon in case you sun guys need anything and I almost have all breedable pokemon in the game.

Man, I'm falling way behind. I play for 2-3 hours a day, but people just keep pulling ahead of me. Time to buy a long-lasting battery, I guess.

On a completely different topic, is there any point to breeding pokemon? I assume it's for competitive purposes, but I've never really bothered in the past. Is there a good way to go about it, or is it doomed to tedium?
